I've successfully accessed the Security info of my Microsoft Outlook.com account, and I'm trying to add an alternate email address.
During the last 3 days I've tried it several times, but each time when I enter the new alternate email address, this error appears:
"There's a temporary problem with the service. Please try again. If you continue to get this message, try again later."
On my Windows 7 SP1 64-bit PC I've used both Internet Explorer and Firefox, both resulting in the same error message.
since being forced to change my old style hotmail account to outlook i am unble to do any work whatsoever. once i open an emailit all goes to ratshit, when i try and delete reply or exit the email everythng locks up and i just get those really shitty annoying
little white dots scrolling across the top of the screen. I timed it today and after 40 minutes it was still doing it. the only way i can do anything is open the email read it, then i haveto shut down, thn restart everything, write my reply email without opening
the original i want to reply to. I have looked at various forums stating i have to turn off add ins but when i try and follow the instructions it keeps tying to get me to cofigure/insall outlook which is asking for the password from my ISP. what the **** is

I am trying to install Movie Maker on a Windows 8 computer. The install file downloads fine. When I run it I select to install Movie Maker from the list. The install starts but only gets to 34% then stops. any help would be greatly appriciated

I just started noticing this problem around September 27 or 28.
I'm sure there's some excuse for rejecting connections from Yahoo because they appear to be sending a lot of spam, but it's ridiculous when it means that legit messages from Yahoo are subjected to extended delays.
Is there any way to influence the people in charge of outlook.com to keep the yahoo IP addresses off of their delay list?

I am trying to change my security code on hotmail and it is supposed to send it to my yahoo account but I did not get the security code to my yahoo...I have tried this several times but I did not get the code and I end up getting this page
We have a waiting period for the updates to take effect. On 10/23/2013, we'll delete your old security info:
*******@yhaoo.com
Once this is deleted, you'll be able to verify your account with info you have access to. If you didn't make the updates, or if you still have access to the above info, cancel the updates.
I need to change some of my info but I can't.
