My colleague in another office has invited me to his SkyDrive group. I was signed into my account from school. (My school, UCF, made an agreement with Microsoft to host student email accounts and such, but has since split the Outlook account from other stuff somehow. https://www.secure.net.ucf.edu/KnightsEmailSelfService/FAQ/.)

When I opened the email, I clicked to view the group. I could see the files and have access to anything, except that I couldn't upload. I clicked Join, and it said there was some error. At length, I eventually clicked decline invitation, and from then on I have no access at all to the group, even though my colleague renewed and sent a fresh invite.

Any ideas?
I seem to want to do the opposite of most here. I'd like to have files in the "cloud" that do not sync with the SkyDrive folder I have on my desktop. Is there a setting which I cannot seem to find that can enable me to do that? I've deleted files from the desktop folder and see they are removed from the cloud drive which is not the result I want.
I have also received Error:5102 - Error ID: Ox8DE00002.   I cannot seem to get an answer whether my hotmail account has been disabled from Windows Live Mail and that I should now go through the new Outlook.   If this is the case why was a warning that this was about to happen not sent via email!!!
iPad mini on  iOS 7.2

I've tried exchange, outlook.com, "other", using pop settings, imap settings. Nothing is working. I either send an e-mail and it sends twice, it doesn't sync right, or I get the "unable to move message to the trash". I have a @live.com address and a domain-based address via windows live admin. I access both on outlook.com via the web just fine, and the outlook for android app also works perfectly. I don't want to have access e-mail via Safari on iPad all the time.

Thanks.
This has happened in the past, but usually comes back on after an hour or so. This time it has been out for days. Can send an email, but can't receive any.

Is my problem related to the maintenance?

I realized too late that all of my files deleted as I sync'd new pictures to the cloud.  Something changed my SkyDrive sync settings and deleted all non-local files.  However SkyDrive was 'nice' enough to save the empty folder structure and synch the empty folders to my pc.

All support points me to restore from the SkyDrive recycle bin within 3 days but I only have 1 empty folder in the bin.

Phone support is useless and pointed me back here.

Please help.

In Gmail you can, from an email, click on the drop-down arrow, select filter messages like this, and tell it to automatically delete emails from that sender (among other possible criteria). I would like to be able to do the same thing from an email in Outlook webmail. How do I do it.
I can't log in to a Hotmail account I had a long time ago. When I try to reset the password, it says the email does not exist. When I try to register it, it says it is not available. When I try to add it as an alias, it says it's not available.
Hi!
I noticed that there exists no intuitive method to download music files from my SkyDrive onto my Windows Phone. For all other types of files, like ".docx", ".pptx", and so on, there exists a "Save As" option that lets you save that file on your Windows phone. However, there exists no such method for music files. What one CAN do with such a music file is just play it. But I CANNOT download it onto my phone at all. I might not have noticed such a method, if at all there exists one. But, to the best of my knowledge, there exists no such intuitive method. Kindly let me know if such a method exists, in the first place. Otherwise, is such a method going to be made available to the users of SkyDrive for Windows Phone in the near future?

Thanks!!
There appear to be about 2 weeks worth of emails missing from my account between 25.8.13 and 13.9.13. I know I received them and I know I haven't deleted them but they are not showing in any folder.
