3 days ago I received a Server Error 5102 Live Mail Error ID:0x8DE00002. It has persisted even though I created a new Hotmail account which allowed me to send and receive messages for about 1 hour. Now I am back to square one & my server can no longer
send or receive my Hotmail messages. Oddly enough, my server has no such trouble sending or retrieving my gmail messages!
Is this a glitch within Windows 8 all of a sudden?

I am running skydrive on my Macbook Pro it has synced 10gb of data (eventually) but won't sync the last 31.7MB (2 files). Also there seems to be no way to see what files have been synced and what is outstanding.
Please advise how i can sync the last few files, the machine is looping trying to download them and chewing up my limited data allowance!

Why am I receiving two email that are forwarded to Outlook?
My daughter's hotmail account seems to have disappeared. We have this account associated with her AppleId on her iPod. Is there any way to restore it?
I have just logged into the hotmail account which I set up in my maiden name. This account had a mail forwarding set up to ensure that all mail was sent to the hotmail account in my married name. On logging in tonight the account has been upgraded to Outlook
and is completely empty, no emails, no folders and no mail forwarding. I cannot understand how Microsoft have deleted all of this information, without any notification. I have tried to restore deleted email but to no avail. What options are available to me

so this is what happened. I logged into my old hotmail account. I went to account settings. I clicked on close account. The page reloaded where i was prompted to enter my password to verify it was me. Once I had done this and clicked NEXT, the page reloaded and i had a page which said:
CLOSE YOUR MICROSOFT ACCOUNT
TO CLOSE *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
You need to deactivate your Hotmail account. Once you've done that, your Microsoft account will be closed automatically after a period of inactivity.
So I clicked on 'deactivate your account' which was blue and a new window opened. On this page you have to select why you are closing your account which I did and I then I was logged out. The original page had logged me out too so I closed them both and went to log into my current account, but when I logged in I was taken to the page where you say why you are closing your account!
All of my emails have now disappeared and I really need them back!!!!! Please can someone tell me how? I used the chat option but the agent was only able to tell me to go to deleted items and then try the recover option which didn't work. Is there a way of resetting to a previous version????

I think I opened an email that had a virus and now I can not log on to my outlook email account. I have tried to find the virus but I can't and I really don't want to reformat, so does anyone have any other suggestions ?
I used to use Skydrive a lot, but not used it maybe for a couple of years. Now I've tried to log into it, it just won't recognise my account name (yahoo email address) at all. So I've set up a new Microsoft account (using the same yahoo email address!)
and here I am looking for my old skydrive files. I have an email from live.com in 2009 that confirmed I had an account (linked to the yahoo email address), but where is that account and skydrive now?? Can I forward that 2009 email onto somebody at Microsoft
for them to investigate?
