I've not been able to update my emails using my iPhone 4S or ipad. I removed the hotmail account from my ipad, then readded my hotmail account thinking that would help. The account has updated but none of my email content prior to yesterday is showing. 

My iPhone just keeps getting stuck on checking mail and doesn't go any further. I tried accessing the account using the Safari browser on my ipad, it said there seems to be an error try again. I'm not experience problems with other apps and services on my iPhone or ipad.

Please can someone help, deleting the mail account and readding it does not work either...all my mail folders are empty, why is this?
