Since Outlook took over there are many times…I go to delete an email and multiple ones are deleted simutaniously

I can not always find them in the deleted folder and I have missed paying bills due to deletions I did not notice. I can not for the life of me figure out why this is happening. Can anyone help me please. Thanks
