I have used MSN hotmail (@msn.com) for several years without any problems. However, after I recently installed Apple's latest upgrade, IOS v 10.2, on my IPhone and iPad, I am now experiencing most (not all though) new, unread emails going directly into my Trash folder.  These are emails are from trusted contacts that are not in my blocked senders list (I checked).

Also, I have checked the level of security filtering and it is still at the minimum filtering level.  I use a MacBook laptop as well as an iPad and iPhone to access this MS Windows Live email account.  I have checked all three devices and the settings are all the same -  not in conflict.

I do not know if this has anything to do with the recent Apple iOS version upgrade or if there is something else going on with the updates from going to the old MSN Hormail to the new Windows Live Mail. I would greatly appreciate any technical help or suggestions on this.

When I send out a e-mail with a attachment it is received as an unreadable jumble of letters and symbols, e-mails without attachments are fine.

It is only happening on e-mails I try to send out not on receiving e-mails. Help someone please.

Regards,

Richard21

I have had Windows Movie Maker running fine on Windows 10 for some time. After a crash and having to do a complete OS reboot I downloaded the Windows Essential install package but it will not install Movie Maker. I get the error message 0X80040705 at source D3DX10_42. After searching on this the advice I find is to uninstall any Windows Essential programs and delete the Windows Live folder from Program Files and Common Files, etc. I have done this repeatedly but to no avail. I continue to get the same error message when trying to install Movie Maker. Any ideas?

There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service. If the error persists, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative.

Please help.
