After a recent Windows10 reload,  I have a CSV file in my User folder.  By the contents, it looks as old as my pre-Win7 OS associated

with Mail.

I have updated and added contacts since the WIN10 and Essentials reload, but that CSV file doesn't appear to change.

IS there a CSV file in the bowels of the Live Mail  programme????  Where can I find it  to protect it and or verify it gets backed

up when I run File History.

Does it even get backed up with File History??????

Hello, we just dropped Cox and went to ATT...in trying to set up my Microsoft Windows Live and Outlook email services with my new att email, it keeps telling me I've entered an incorrect password. . . I know that I entered it correctly...so thought I would go in and change the password, re-enter it and see if that works.  In doing what people suggest..."going into Options/email/finding my present account for att/properties/deleted the account totally/went back in, re-entered all the information, making absolutely sure again that I entered the correct password...tried again to compose and send an email - it tells me I've entered and incorrect email and/or password. . . it's just going in a circle...meantime I have no email service and have business that I have to get taken care of via email...can someone help me as soon as possible?  It's now 10:41 CST, 12/20/2016  Thanks SO much, Anna

I am currently using Movie Maker on a Windows 10 machine... and keep getting the same issues. Move Maker keeps saying that it needs to close.

I have edited pictures into my movie, and saved it as 'my movie' so that I could go back to it, now every time I try to edit the video Movie Maker keeps closing!!! Every time I try and 'split' the movie so that I can edit it, it jumps to the last split and loses any video after it.
I'm stuck

To be honest, I'm rather annoyed.

Thought I had uninstalled all traces of this program, deleted all registry entries allowed, files and .msi files.

However decided to re-install Movie Maker. When I do this the installation setup tells me it is 'already installed'.

Hve been through all the most recent 'fixes' I can find but no luck!

Can any one help????

Hi,

I've just looked in the 'deleted items' subfolder of the 'storage folders' of WLM and found  - much to my surprise - that 1). there were many sub-sub-folders in the 'deleted items' sub-folder that I was not aware I'd ever created, most of them empty but some not and 2). there were many emails directly in the 'deleted items' folder, some of them not yet read.

My question - how did those folders - and emails - get there?

My normal practise when receiving emails is to read them and then either 1. file them in a folder I've created within the 'storage folders' directory (and never delete them) or 2. delete them, in which case they go into the 'deleted items' folder of my main account (Inbox /  Drafts /  Sent Items / Junk /  Deleted items).

At no time do I ever (consciously at any rate) put anything into the 'deleted items' sub-folder of the 'storage folders' folder.

I am running Windows 10.  I use Windows Live Movie Maker every year to make a year-end "Year in Review" slideshow for my family.  The program has been great and has all the feature I need.  I like it.  HOWEVER, something is now causing some, not all, of the images to become distorted in aspect ratio - randomly.  I create a slideshow and see appx. 5% of the images distorted.  I then close the show and re-open to find different images similarly distorted - some are distorted every time!  This NEVER used to happen.  What can I do to fix the problem?
