I have a new PC with Windows 10 already installed. I initially set up my email through Windows Live Mail but have since started using Outlook instead as I find it easier. How do I now stop my emails going to Live Mail and just to Outlook instead?

windows movie maker. I've converted from MP4 to JPEG and created a trial movie. I've clicked on 'burn to disc' and selected the movie to be burnt to the disc. When I clicked on burn to disc again nothing happened as I right clicked on the movie and clicked on 'send to E drive etc.' It makes all the noise one would expect but nothing goes to the disc. I've tried DVD+R and DVD-R discs. I can't work out where I'm going wrong.   As I'm probably average pc literate it's taken me a while just to get to this stage.

I have temporarily moved around message folders in the Windows Live Mail directory on the hard drive, which resulted in all my user created subfolders and messages disappearing inside WLM program. Even though I now put the original message folders back to where they used to be on the hard drive (in the Windows Live Mail directory), WLM program is ignoring them. When I start WLM, it creates new empty message folders ('Inbox', 'Sent', 'Deleted') on the hard drive instead of connecting to the original folders containing email messages. So all my custom created subfolders with messages are still gone from WLM program.

This is a POP3 email account. Most messages are no longer on the server, so I can't download them again.

I also have a recent backup of email messages (exported to a different location on the hard drive a couple of days ago) but when I try to import them back into WLM it doesn't work (even though I get a message that the import was successful).

How do I get my subfolders and messages back into WLM?

Thank you for your help.

My email is caught in an error loop, it seems.

I cannot send an email as I am not recognized by the server.  Here is the error message:

The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's email address. The sender's email address was *** Email address is removed for privacy ***'.

Subject 'test'
Server Error: 550
Server Response: 550 5.1.0 <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***> sender rejected
Server: 'smtp.telus.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC78
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No

I have not made any changes leading up to this error.  Since I have run a full scan, restored to an earlier date, rebooted both my computer and my modem and swore a lot.  My wife's computer gets the same result as does my IPhone.

Help!

Hi Theodore White,

We are happy to assist you in dealing with your concern wherein you are having a hard time fuguring on how to email multiple recipients at the same time using Windows Live Mail. In this case, please refer to the steps below on how to send emails to multiple contacts:

Windows Live Mail 2012:

  1. Sign in to Windows Live Mail.
  2. Click the Email message button on the upper left corner if its window.
  3. Click the To: button.
  4. Hold down the CTRL button on your keyboard, then select the contacts which you like to send the message.
  5. Click the To -> button.

Note: You may also select Favorite or the name of a specific group. For you to know or if you wish to not send the message to one of the contacts in that specific group, then just click the + sign the manually remove it from the list.

If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to post it here in Microsoft Community.

Thanks!

thank you for this information.  Is it possible to save this configuration for repeated use without having to

do the process to construct it over each time, ie, an email list of my daughter's addresses saved and ready to go when needed.
