Question about Outlook Express

If this process could be any more frustrating.

Just got a New Dell Desktop Inspiron .

Came with Windows 10.

Now I want to get Windows Live Mail installed.....Shoot me

Everytime  I try download, keep getting load .net some or other.

Just doesn't work.

I am ready start drinking. 

Why is a Windows Software so had or impossible to install into a Windows operating system

ANYONE KNOW HOW TO DO THIS?

I have windows 7 and use windows live mail. If I right click on a contact group the "send email" doesn't work. If I enter the name of the group in the To line of an email, a box appears telling me to type an email address. I used to be able to just click on a group I had entered in the email and all the addresses would appear. Please help!

Have been using WLM (2012 version) for some time without issue. 2 days ago, most ( only one or two random emails appear properly) new mail began to appear in the message window blank - no "subject" and no "from" info from multiple email addresses ( all AOL ).  A line appears for each new message but no info is displayed - just the envelope icon at the left of the line and a time stamp on the right side of the line and no reply/forward option on top. The time stamp is always the moment the message was downloaded to the computer. When I hover over each message line, the popup window shows no subject and the file size is 0KB. mail loads properly in the reading pane and if double clicked to open a new window ( with subject to/from info) All mail displays properly in WebMail and on my phone. I have removed and added the email account multiple times and ran Microsoft update and added all theupdates and still same result.

I guess I am answering my own question while simultaneously providing the answer for anyone looking for it.

I'm astonished that the simple task of creating Contact Groups for anyone using the new People App in Windows 10 is not a "feature".

I'm sad also that the amazing Photo Stitching capabilities in Photo Gallery are also not a "feature" in the new Windows 10 Photos app.

And I'm sad also that Live Movie Maker or the ability to simply create simple movies with titles out of ones own videos is not in any way included in any of the stock Apps.

I'm even sadder that the app store that is supposed to make up for all of these now stark deficiencies, is void of any real quality apps to replace them.

Out with the old and in with the new. Time to adapt.
