Frequently having issues with windows live mail

Started yesterday.  Going down list folders alphabetically >drafts, sent(has items up to 1/26/17), sent items(has items since 1/26/17), trash(has several deleted files but no "X"to delete all), then deleted w/sub folders>drafts, trash.  Then more folders drafts(has several up to 1/24/17), junk(5 from today 1/7/17 no "X" to delete all), notes, outbox, sent(several has several items including today 2/7/17), trash(has 5 items dated 1/26/17).  Had issues around end of Jan.2017.  Don't recall issues-probably similar but fixed satisfactory and then started having issues again late yesterday about 8pm on 2/7/17.  How do you fix duplicate folder issues and know which ones to keep?  This is an issue that I have dealt with before.

I have exactly same problem of  Ann Finnsson's (Sept 27, 2016) post. I followed the suggestion, that is,  I clicked on the WLM top left but it does not show a "connection tab" nor a "stop signing in" button. Please, help how to get that option.....

I'm trying to install Windows Gallery on my new laptop, but after the install I get error message.

"Couldn't set up the installer, check to be sure you are connected to the internet" 

I'm connected and online, I have Windows 10, I have a Microsoft and Office account, what is my problem?

Movie Maker blurry and huge video

Every video that I import into MovieMaker (windows 10) is blurry and distorted. I have converted the MTS files to avi and wmv and mp4 and nothing works. I have also adjusted settings to reduce file size on my cameras and I still get the same result. I even ran a repair on all Windows Essential programs.

I am able to receive mail with the new imap settings, but am unable to send mail.  What is the correct setting for sending mail in Windows live mail version 2011, and Windows 7 professional?
