I use Windows Live Mail 2012.  Have had it for years, well since 2012 probably.  Every 3 months for one reason or the other I suddenly cannot send or receive emails.  I then call my server company, Xfinity, and they fix the problem.  It's always something to do with the password...I have had so many passwords for these email accounts.  Two days ago, it started again that I couldn't send or receive and the error messages are always about the password.  So I called Xfinity, and was helped resetting the password and nothing happened.  I still couldn't send or receive, so Xfinity said I had to contact Microsoft Live Mail support.  So I did that and after using "chat" for over an hour I finally got a real human.  He worked for another hour then did a system restore which also failed and he and I were disconnected.  I called back, got another person, and then we were disconnected; I called back, got a third person who was just beginning to help when we got disconnected.  So I gave up for the day.  Today is Saturday and I cannot get to any live people at Microsoft Live Mail so I hoping someone in the forums has an idea.

My idea would be to uninstall Windows Live Mail, and then re-install it, but I don't know how that would work.  I have several folders with saved emails that I do not want to lose.  Would I love them with a re-installation?

Windows Live Mail, Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3528.0331), running on a Windows 10 OS is not functioning.  It totally crashed a couple of days ago and I lost the communication I was drafting.  Subsequently the program has not been functioning.  Although other applications are not causing problems, Windows Live Mail is freezing.  By this I mean that the cursor just does not operate on that program.  Attempts to open mail or click on any other tasks are not successful.  I cannot even close the program unless I use Task Manager.

I have run virus scans and not problems have been identified.  I am not sure what to do.  This has been going on for a couple of days at this point and oddly enough, it is happening on my husband's Windows 10 computer also.  His Live Mail version is the same as mine.

Am wondering if this is happening to others and if so, what advice the community has for resolving the problem.

Everytime I check email it asks me to sign in even though the emails download without signing in, so I can just hit x and it goes away. And yes, I've clicked the remember me button a million times but it always comes back. This has only been happening over the past few weeks, never happened before.

If Microsoft have discontinued support for Movie Maker, then can anyone please explain the following :

In The Store are various apps and documents relating to "Guides On How To Use Windows Movie Maker", which, I hope you will remember, is a deprecated programme and shows no sign of actually appearing in The Store anytime this side of the next millennium. This makes it rather confusing for users. Explain

I would like to transfer to Outlook but all my old emails are held in Incredimail where they want me to pay for Cloud Storage or risk loosing my emails. I see you hold my emails for the last several months is there a facility to get emails before this and if so how far back.
