About 48 hours ago I became unable to send emails and up came the message which essentially notified a Windows Live Mail Error 0x8007007A. It would seem that quite a few of us have or are experiencing this problem. Is there a quick fix? Can anyone help please? Thank you.

I keep getting the below messages when using Windows Live Mail 2011
The first one is -
There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service. If the error persists, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative.
The second one, I haven't got to copy but is along the lines of that informs me that more than one person is using this email / computer. This then freezes use so we have to shut down and restart it again.
Any suggestions of help would be appreciated.

In each LiveMail account, there are five folders:- Inbox, Drafts, Sent Items, Junk Mail, and Deleted Items. I have seven different accounts, and for each account I have added extra categories, making a total of 79 in all.
And, Yes, I have lots more under "Storage Folders" - 130 different categories / Folders..
Today, 8 April 2017, while I was out, with the computer running, I came back to find it had re-booted. When I fired up LiveMail, I found that it had lost some of my folders. Instead of the 79, now there are only 51 !
Windows Explorer shows me that those Folders ARE still there, and still carry the e-mails.
How can I get LiveMail to recognise the lost ones ?

I have Windows 10 & Essentials 2012.
Media Player and Windows Movie Maker have always played mpeg videos. Last week it stopped.
The screen says Windows Media player has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
Neither program seems to be effected by other files types.
I have tried repairing Windows Essentials and have noticed no help.
Error: "That password is incorrect. Make sure you are using the password for your Microsoft account."
Win 10 1607, build 14393.953. The machine is up to date, last check at 9:53am this morning.
I am not having difficulty logging into my local machine account.
Windows Live Mail (WLM) is used to read and respond to my Cox and gmail accounts. I don't use a Microsoft account on this Windows 10 machine (desktop), I use a local account, 3 of them, 1 is for email and general use. I have not setup two factor anything.
My cell is the only thing that could receive a text for two factor, no text received, so nothing setup (yes, I have received other texts for other apps).
I did change the password for my Microsoft account, the one I don't use on this computer. I do not use Outlook or any other email client.
Error started showing up this morning when I restarted WLM after working many, many months. I've been using WLM this way since W10 came out. I upgraded in place from Win7.
I do have a Microsoft account, just not for mail on this machine.
I have tried logging in with my Microsoft account, but WLM insists on an email address. My Microsoft account works on my laptop, the only machine I have that uses that account for machine login. I am not interested in doing email on the laptop,
I have rebooted which didn't help, still got the error
So, what's going on?

Nothing but problems again with Windows Live Mail 2012, using the IMAP settings for Hotmail accounts. I know of at least a half dozen people who are having sync errors, cached message errors, server timeouts, and all in all just a bad experience for the last week. Since last Tuesday March 28 - 2017

Every Send and receive errors pop up. I currently manage 4 different peoples computers, running windows 7, to windows 10 , running windows live mail , all with Hotmail accounts, and all of these people are experiencing the same errors, and of course everyone is annoyed big time. It also is taking several minutes just to see the contents of an email from selecting the header, I have set the max time limit on everyones computer to 5 minutes for server timeouts, but this did not make a difference. It usually rotates through several of the above errors messages over and over.
Why does Microsoft have to screw stuff up like this every few months. Its ridiculous .... why they just can leave it alone. I know they don't support WLM 2012 anymore , however I have a gmail account using IMAP , and no errors exist what so ever.
I suppose if they do not fix this problem, its time to get away from Microsoft completely. All they do in cause hardship and abandon the only programs and OS's that actually work, and then expect people to subscribe to Office 365 to continue to use the client email program. I have also tried to get all the users that I manage to change over to outlook.com for email , but the way it is setup is also ridiculous. everyone hates its UI, and find it difficult to navigate through contacts , and all the hidden feature buttons. If it was setup like WLM UI , it would be fine.
However I have seen several links of other saying the setup is other ports for SMTP outgoing, like 25 instead of 587 .and also the incoming server addresses of imap-mail.outlook.com , I have also seen reported on other sites as imap.mail.outlook.com, also the same for outgoing , smtp-mail.outlook.com , where I have also seen it reported as smtp.mail.outlook.com.... so it begs the question which one is right if any ? as they all seem to produce the same errors in regards to syncing with Hotmail accounts. I do not have anyone using an outlook.com account to see if it produces the same results.
Please someone help with this issue, there is no reason why a Microsoft email account shouldn't work with IMAP settings, unless Microsoft has changed something , and we need to adjust the settings accordingly, but I see nothing of anyone talking about it on the internet in the last week of searching. Like I had mentioned my Gmail account works flawlessly on WLM 2012 with IMAP settings.
