Downloaded WE (primarily to get Photo Gallery back) from Archive.org but it failed to install - error code 0x800c0006, source: UXPlatformLang

I wonder if that's got something to do with the fact that the new edition of Win7 recently installed on my computer after major surgery is in Portuguese (because the work was done in Portugal) whereas the version of Essentials I downloaded from archive.org was (British) English because that's my native language?

If that's right, then I could download the Portuguese version of WE? Or even better, could someone help with converting the rest of W7 into English? (For example, the user interface language (not the editing language) of Office 2007 is Portuguese with no option that I can see to change it to another language.

Hi, my Windows 7 computer had to have some major surgery (don't know exactly what - reformatting the disc or something?) and when it came back, Windows Live Photogallery wasn't there. It's my preferred mode of editing photos because I'm used to it. I downloaded it from what looked like a 3rd party website but it failed to install. Then I saw something about MS having discontinued WLP. So have I lost it forever? Can anyone help with tips to get it back? Thanks.
