I've been scouring the internet looking for a solution to this problem, with most places telling me just to get different software.

The problem I'm having is the tail end of clips showing up in the final video that don't show up in editing. Example, I have  3 second clip that when I scroll through on the viewer is perfect, then in the preview is perfect, then I save it to a video and bam, a 0.05 sec chunk of unwanted material is attached at the end. This is annoying when trying to repeat the same clip to look like one longer clip, only to have flashes of another image interrupt the sequence.

I've tried cutting out sections bit by bit by 0.03 second chunks (the shortest WMM seems to be able to focus on) but they always show up. I've tried publishing the video clip by itself, then loading it and cutting it again as an original video, but these hidden parts always show up!! Please help, I have no idea what is going on.

I have the real Windows Movie Maker on my old desktop PC, but I want to install it on my new  laptop PC.

Any way of transferring it to the new laptop?

In the Microsoft Store I found a free (?) app called Movie Maker, by Videopix, which presumably has nothing to do with the real Windows Movie Maker.

On a website called windowsmoviemaker.org I downloaded and installed an alleged free "Windows Movie Maker 2016 for Windows 10", but after I installed it, it told me that this was a free trial and that I would have to pay for the full programme, but didn't say how much. Cowboy country!!!! I uninstalled it.

Now from Microsoft there is Sway and, looming, Story Remix. Sway only saves stories online, but will Story Remix be a suitable general purpose replacement for Windows Movie Maker, or will it be a bit beyond my modest requirements / software skills?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Mike

Why is it that Windows Live Mail often does not open some messages (mainly messages downloaded on a POP email account)?  Instead this message is displayed:

“A problem occurred while trying to open this message.

A problem has occurred.  Please try again”

I have repeatedly tried opening the message again and again but in vain.  And the message cannot even be deleted.  I have even tried repairing the App but that made no difference whatsoever.

I know that Microsoft no longer offers support for Windows Live Mail but can someone please assist in rectifying the problem?

Why can't I get to my Windows Live mail.   Sign in option always pops up that has the password saved but it won't get past the authoring.

I have been using Live Mail for my emails.  I now find that if I right mouse click on a photo and choose 'send to email recipient' the computer brings up a 'potted' version of MS Outlook.  I cannot send from there since I have no accounts set up in it.  I have been to default Apps and the default email app is 'Live mail'.

Why didn't you fix the window live mail 2012 for windows 10?  I have been with Window Live Mail for many years, all sudden it came out errors!! duh.

You as programmers decided to delete all window live mail as well as other emails I've read.   You are greedy.   I do not like Office 365!!  too much!!
