Question about Outlook Express

I have a task to rename a lot of windows local users and they all are using windows live mail as mail client.

I wrote some cmd commands to .bat script and tried it on some computers, so username changes but then Windows live mail asks for password. It has to be filled up without user interaction.

I have all the passwords in file but don‘t know how to encrypt them and write in the .oeaccount file.

There are some Software which decrypt Windows Live Mail password. I analyzed it with "Process Monitor" and saw that it used account file *.oeaccount and "Salt" from registry HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail\ and it got the password. But I don't know how it was decrypted, what algorithms it used.

I'm not sure but I think that after renaming local user "Salt" changes in registry and that's why encrypted password in *.oeaccount file becomes invalid.

My Mail Calendar App for Microsoft stopped working 

So i deleted the accounts to start again

Reset the app

And now it won't let me add any accounts.

When I push the add account button

no options appear.

I can't even uninstall the app and start again.

How can I stop the 'preparing' stage taking hours?  Very short video clips but progress extremely slow.

Hi:

have saved a number of acrobat reader expense claim documents, among other things, on my desktop over the past several years. 

Today when I attempt to retrieve an Expense Claim document, I get the following message: "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired".

This has materialized 'out of the blue' and I can still open other documents, including other acrobat reader documents.

Has anyone experienced this and can you advise please?

Hi:

Something new has been happening with my mail over the last couple of months.

When I type up a message and push send it goes into an outbox but does not go out until I sign out of Mail and the sign back in and hit one of the Mailbox headings. ie Inbox, Sent, etc.

This has just started and I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how it might be fixed?

I had my live email account a long ime but never used it how can I find the link   so I can get into it

I have transferred all my photos and videos from my iPhone 6 to Windows Live Photo Gallery. How can I save these to a CD or send the photos to an online photo site such as Shutterfly?

My btconnect.com e-mail address was used by spammers which resulted in me getting thousands of blocked non delivered notices. Windows Live Mail has now blocked my outgoing-mails (I am receiving e-mails but cannot reply to them). I have changed my password a number of times but the Windows Live Mail Log-in will not accept the new password. How do I re-activate my account?
