My Windows 7 will not download and install updates. It goes through the process of downloading them and then the message - Failure Configuring Windows Updates Reverting Changes - but never installs the updates . I haven't had any updates for 2 years now because of this problem.
My laptop is a HP Pavilion g series.
Recently facing a problem in windows live mail while reply or forward a email to anybody its get hang /freeze and programme is closed itself .
Action taken:
-repair the windows live mail programme from control panel
-reinstall the new version from 11 to 12 but same problem
If anybody have any idea to resolve this problem please share

Hello.
I rememberin Windows XP movie Maker had the option to record clips from computer onto DV tape.
How is it done and in which version is it still supported.
Also what is the quality, can it work with DV-AVI copied from tape to be recorded on another tape as bit identical copy?
How do I restore WLXPhotoGallery.exe and WLXPhotoBase.dll to Windows 7?
I have been using Windows Live Mail on Windows 7 SP1 for years. I had the mail view configured to show mail in the right panel, the folder list in the upper left panel and a scrollable list of contacts in the lower half of the left panel, right under the folder panel. This disappeared 2 days ago and all I have is a list of shortcuts there. Clicking on Contacts takes me out of the mail view to a contacts only view. How do I get my scrollable contacts name list back on the mail view?
