HELP!
I use W10 as my OS. At the end of last week MS "identified" problems with my computer which it needed to sort out automatically, without my knowledge or consent. After this had been done I was not able to see any incoming emails in Live Mail after 2/12/2015. The error message that comes up says "Could not download messages from the IMAP server" Error ID: 0x800CCC0F. This is disasterous as I rely on the emails for an income and I must have access.
Can anyone explain to me in plain language and step by step what to do - the help line is useless and has referred me to this community.

I was encouraged to het Windows Live. However, it will not show attachements all of the time though they are there as a winmail.dat format. How can I open them. The only way I can do so at present is by accessing my e mails via Outlook which I have on my ancient Laptop.
Thanks
I understand that Photo Gallery is slowly going to disappear. Already geotagging no longer works. But I have thousands of photographs that I have carefully geotagged (i.e. assigned a location to, not coordinates) and don't want to lose all that work.
Is there anybody out there, MS developers in particular, who can explain how I can keep the geotag that is still visible in Photo Gallery pictures as I transition to something like ACDSee, PhtoDirector9 or similar photo-managing software?
'When you share photos and videos, the tags you've added will be included', the pop-up menu declares when you hover your mouse over the Geotag option under 'Tag and caption' in the main menu. Yes, but how?
How do I access on my laptop my Windows Live Mail contacts that I have on my desktop.
Both desktop and laptop have WLM 2012, I tried logging in on my laptop with the same user and pass as my desktop, I logged in but it didn't pick up my contacts. I want to have those contacts on both desktop and laptop.
Please help.
Thank you
