I use to use windows photo gallery for editing and found it was much better than anything I've used before and gave great results. I've just upgraded my  version of windows and it's all changed. - Many of the functions I used have gone and the retouch option which was  a godsend for correcting errors and cloning out things like telgraph poles have gone. I can see a spotfix option but that's terrible and doesn't give the same result as it just leaves a huge blurred spoldge.

Please can you bring back the old features or tell me how I can now access them?

I used to use Picassa which had a much better retouch option but that's been taken down now and I can't download it on my new laptop.

Any results from the Virtual 'One' are not helpful, maybe because they are old and not with Windows 10. I turned off my Charter antivirus to use Windows Defender and tried any other things I saw suggested, but nothing works. Charter tech support efforts did not help and I guess they gave me correct settings and the Microsoft phone # they gave me does not allow talking to anyone. I am not sure why or if any mention of Outlook in the details is correct or a problem. I have Outlook 2003 that quit working many many months ago and have been using Windows Live Mail with no problem until it froze up one day and has not worked since. I was able before, after the problem, to get mail but not send it. Now it will not even connect to the IMAP server! I have 12 Gb memory, so no lack!

Your IMAP command could not be sent to the server, due to non-network errors. This could, for example, indicate a lack of memory on your system.

I have just upgraded to Window 10 and I cannot find the option in LiveMail to not have emails that have been sent to me to automatically preview.  I want to be able to just single click on them before they open and then delete them.

Moved from: Windows / Windows 7 / Network & internet.

I am looking to consolidate email accounts I have used over the years or inherited. My current "main" email is verizon which just moved to AOL and has issues. I currently have a Live account and access it through local client - Outlook and Apple Mail.

Moving my mail system away from Verizon is going to be a real pain - all business connections, banks, some signons etc. So I want to do this once.

The options are to stay with Live, Move to Outlook on the web, or Gmail on the web. Easiest is to stay with Live however I am concerned that Microsoft will supersede with Outlook. I do notice that my account when I sign in to Live on the web is - "https://outlook.live.com/mail/". So to boil down the questions -

Am I already on outlook, albeit outlook.live?

Is the Live address I have likely to stay functional for the long term?

If the live.com account is to be discontinued is there an easy move to outlook?

Hope this makes sense,

Appreciate any perspective.

Thanks.
