I have an old, but perfectly good, Dell Vostro1710 that runs Windows XP. I would like to use my Galaxy S4 as a modem to connect the laptop to the internet. Anyone help please?
Windows Live Mail has not synchronised with my Hotmail account since July 27th. I get the error message "Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80048820." Eventually I uninstalled and reinstalled the current version of Live Mail (2012) but it made no difference.
If anyone can help I would be grateful but if you do please do not use techie jargon but simple instructions on what to do! Many thanks indeed.

I have a problem in that i live and work in Vietnam where many people share the same name.
I find that outlook.com merges contacts with the same name without asking.
I have 5 people i know by the name Nguyen Van Trong and they now all 5 share one contact "card" in outlook and for the life of me i do not know which phone number belongs to who. Or which address. or which email....
Q: how do i unmerge these contacts?
Q2: howdo i stop outlook from doing this?
Oh: to add insult to injury it does ask me if i want to delete some people from this merge. It then presents all 5 Nguyen Van Trongs with the helpful note that they are all from inside outlook. What happens if i click on that? are they then moved into a separate contact? deleted? what?

Photo Gallery noise reduction worked great before upgrading to windows 10.
Was editing the other night and noticed a pixelization effect after pressing the "analyze" button under adjust detail.
Adjust detail / sharpen works fine, but noise reduction is broken.
After Analyze is pressed we get the picture on the right.
There's no in-between min and max, you get the left picture at min. and the right picture at any other setting
of the analyze slider.
Does anyone know what that fuzz is on the Wasp ?

Hi,
I have Asus Vivo book V550/ i7 and I upgraded to windows 10 almost one month ago, since that time I always have problem with live mail application.
It runs very slow and took long time to sync for new mails, and sometimes I have to close and open the app to see the new mails. when I try to send an email it get worse, because it opens the new mail window but not working at all, couple of times closing and opening did not help because it still not working. Definitely this application has problem and I reported in feedback center but still there is not any update or improvement from Microsoft.
please do something.

All the pictures I have loaded have the Title "SANYO DIGITAL CAMERA" on them. I can delete the title from each picture but there should be a way to bulk correct this. Any suggestions?
So I've looked through the posts and found nothing on this
I've been working on a project and saved it. I closed out, now when I open Movie Maker again and load the project I saved, it starts loading up the videos and I can play them, but within seconds the whole project has the yellow warning icons and it says the file may be corrupt or in an unknown format for every clip. I did not move this files, change their extension, anything that would cause this error.
I tried loading up a project I recently finished and published and that one gets the same error as well. How can I fix this?
