I've created a group of email contacts in Windows Live Mail. Is there a way to send an email to that group rather than to each individual member of that group? I thought that was the purpose of a group.

Windows Live Mail and Windows Essentials are getting on my last nerve!!
My Windows Live Mail got messed up and I was getting more and more messed up trying to fix it so I decided to start from scratch. However, I cannot seem to uninstall Windows Live Essentials. It still appears in my programs list even though it successfully uninstalled!!
I think on one computer I have Windows Live Essentials (which I guess had windows Live Mail 2010 or 2011)? The other computer has windows Essentials 2012 which I also cannot uninstall (or delete the files).
I cant even open Windows Mail on either computer anymore as it says there are files missing. So I guess they got partially uninstalled. When I try to re-install it bombs.
anyone know why this is?
i have been using outlook for mac as a relatively basic user for 3 years now and now for some reason i can't open outlook at all, it just flashes up and then disappears again
i just updated the latest versions of software so wonder if there's a bug in there or something
any ideas welcome please before i throw this out the window!!
thanks in advance
I have started using Office for Mac 2011, 14.5.5, about 1 week ago. When I run it, I notice my battery power drains much faster compared to NOT RUNNING Mac for Office. I have a MacBook Pro which can run for about 10 hours on battery when using Apple Mail, Pages, etc. But with Office for Mac, I get only about 5 hours.
MS Tech Support replied that Office for Mac is a big program so it needs more battery power. Are there options to conserve battery power?
When creating Contact Lists in Outlook 2011 or 2016 for Mac the groups are local to the machine and not saved. When doing it on the web portal the list doesn't show up when creating an email, and the only way to access it is to start at the People list, and generate an email from the record. And it doesn't show up in my phone contacts. So its not particularly useful to even have it-not sure what the point is. But what I'd like to have is a group of contacts that I can easily select for email and modify as needed. Other services do provide this, so its definitely feasible. But maybe I'm misunderstanding how to implement it.
And if I'm not, well, that needs fixing.
I upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 8.
Live email works fine except the NEW MAIL NOTIFICATION SOUND. It worked fine for the 1st week or so. I have gone into "sounds" through control panel and I can browse and test the sound and it works fine so it's not my computer. And YES, I have the play sound box checked under the options tab.
thanks
