Factory reload Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit – Acer 5733z –

doing a factory reload of win 7 home premium using the Acer eRecovery option.  It supposedly deletes everything and then loads the basics.  This goes well - until I try to apply the 200 some updates.  Every time I try the majority of the updates fail and all the 'fix it' options are not cleaning it up. 

I tried being selective on which updates to install - but again the majority of the updates failed,  The errors are all too consuming to list them all but I would appreciate any thoughts on how to get some of these edits to actually successfully load.

For example the only instructions that I find on this one particular issue,  There is no download button the page and no where can I find it,. there are no links or anything to clink on,

  • Install Instructions
      1. Click the Download button on this page to start the download, or select a different language from the Change language drop-down list and click Change.
      2. Do one of the following:
        • To start the installation immediately, click Run.
        • To save the download to your computer for installation at a later time, click Save.
        • To cancel the installation, click Cancel.

Duplicate issue on WLM contacts – can’t be removed – and missing info in People

My address books in WLM and People are not set up properly.  In WLM I have duplicates of most contacts with either in slightly different format with same info.  One contact page has Network with no info next to it, and below that Personal with phone numbers and email addresses, and  Others.  The second listing has Personal, sometimes Work.  The Network listing can not be deleted.  Also they are not recognized as duplicates because in People there are no duplicates.  In People I find most of the information missing that is in WLM contacts although all the contact names are listed.  It does supply links to Google which may or may not have more information about the contact.  It is quite discombobulated.  It would be helpful to have People and WLM contacts in sync without the duplicates.  Maybe if I delete all of People and then import from WLM I can then remove the duplicates in both.  I would like a solution first before I try anything else, so I won't loose contact information.   I should have only about 1500 contacts in WLM but it shows as over 3000 with the duplicates.

Anyway to go back to Windows 7 from 10? (After pre-installation)

I had Windows 10 with the pre-installation, and windows live movie maker won't display video and video sound, and I miss the old format. Is there anyway to go back?

Upgrade to Windows 10. My Windows Photo Gallery is locked up. My photos are in Edge and I prefer WPG.

Upgraded to Windows 10. My Windows Photo Gallery is locked up. I have clicked on everything. The opening page has the ribbon of choices atthe top and the center of the screen says 'Loading...". The red X in the task bar box does not even work. Everything else is working except WPG.

My photos are in Edge and I prefer WPG. 

Windows Live Mail Account

I am running Windows 7 on a desktop PC. I had a corrupt user account so I created a new user account following Microsoft's instructions. How do I get Windows Live Mail over to this new account? I really don't want to loose my contacts and emails. Do I need to reload Windows Live Mail? Don't know if it matters but I'm using Charter for my ISP.

Webcam stay’s in 4:3 and will not go into 16:9 (Movie maker 2012)

I have a HD Pro Logitech c920 webcam which records in 720 as well as 1080. But when I goto record it in Movie maker it puts a black bar on both sides.

Although I've been through around 100+ threads, the only thing I've found is this:

The issue is, Windows movie maker 2012 e. does not have a "tools" tab, (at least from my searching) It also makes my video REALLY bad and almost blurry. Any help is appreciated!

After recently upgrading to Windows 10, I suddenly started getting two of every email. Is there a way to correct this without losing my email account and all it's contents? It takes so much time to delete all the extra emails from my inbox. Thanks for any suggestions!

Having Trouble Saving So The Video Shows Up Big

I can't figure out how to save a movie in movie maker that shows up regular size on Facebook. If I post to Facebook from the device I recorded from it shows up regular size. I just want to be able to edit with this awesome software before posting.
