Live Mail not recognising and saving passwords in win 8.1

My WLM does not save or recognise my passwords.  I can log in to both my POP3 account and Live.co.uk via google ok. But when I open WLM it asks me to sign in each time.  It recognises the password for the pop3 but not the Live account.  The setting are correct.

Also I can sign on to my PC ok but have a message in the Action Centre to entre my most recent password.  This takes me to accounts where it asks me to verify my identity. It shows the Live.co.uk but and my name ok but the password is not seen. I changed the password via MS Account using the code ( twice now) no help. 

When will there be a fix for Outlook 2011’s ability to run on Mac’s new OS – El Capitan?

Through all the numerous questions, answers and comments on the internet regarding the inability for Outlook 2011 to run on Mac's new OS version - El Capitan, there is no information as to any timeline for a fix.  This issue is killing me and my business, and I absolutely do not want to switch to Apple's mail program if I can avoid it!!!  Has anyone heard if Microsoft and/or Apple are working on this serious problem, and if so, any idea of how soon a fix might be available?

Outlook 2011 on El Capitan – Work Around Found

Good day,

I think I may have discovered a work-around to Outlook 2011 becoming unstable on El Capitan.  I opened a Safari connection to our corporate OWA site and authenticated and connected to my inbox.  I then leave Safari connected and open but minimize Safari.

I then open Outlook 2011 and everything works like it should.  It has been working perfectly for the entire day today, so at least I can do my work again.

This has worked for me, so I hope it helps.  As soon as I close Safari and the OWA connection, then Outlook becomes unstable and crashed and I need to force it close.

I trust that this will work.

Sometimes I get emails (NOT in plain text format) where part or all of the original message no longer shows, once I have clicked on the reply button.  I presume it is obvious how undesirable and inconvenient this is. Can anyone suggest a remedy ? Win7 Ult

Can”t open email attachments

In the last few days I have been unable to open attachments on emails on Windows live or Verizon.com on my computer. I can open them on mobile devices. I downloaded office service pack sp 1, changed security settings on my email, and nothing worked. I have Microsoft 8 on my computer. Help??

I had problems after upgrading to Windows 10 - Windows Live Mail Error 0x8DE00001 er code 4102 and 0x8DE20003 er code 3204 etc.

Returned to earlier version

Still had problems

Uninstalled WLM (and Windows Essentials) thinking I could download and reinstall WLM but can only find current Windows Mail

I had 10+ emails addresses that I could move emails between and need that feature.

Also seem to have lost subfolders of folders in main email address.

Again, where can I download the old WLM separate from the newer Windows Essentials?

How to correct camera name

I have changed to Windows10 from Windows 7.  My original camera was a Canon,but was replaced by a Lumix.

In photo gallery, when I click the import symbol the Import photo box shows my camera as a Canon.  Can you tell me how to correct this, please?  The photos are imported  with no difficulty.  Thank you.

Windows Live account stopped working after Windows 10 upgrade

I have updated to win 10 and after that I am getting this message in Windows Live account.

Unable to send or receive messages for the *** Email address is removed for privacy *** account.
Server Error: 0x800488A6
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800488A6

My two other emailaccounts worked fine using Windows Live Mail after the update to Windows 10
