I have a good quality camera that takes amazing pictures with excellent details. However although they are crystal clear when i play them on my computer if I burn them to a dic the quality is terrble & grainy . Seem to defeat the object of having an expensive camera ... Im a camera novice by the way but any ideas if i can improve this ?

My videos are recorded in 720p, 30fps. When I edit them in MM and save it, the new video is of a lower resolution. Yes, I have the latest version of MM. Yes, I have created a custom profile that matches the original video's output. I'm using Windows 10. I have tried pretty much every different solution and most of them say to create a new custom profile and it doesn't matter bit rate I set it to, whether it match the original video's or just be put to max, the video's always come out the same, in what appears to be a 360/480p video.

The custom profile I have made sets the bitrate at 6000 kbps. The video comes out at 4984, at least that's what it says when I right click the video and view "Properties". How do I get it to stop downgrading?

Thanks.

Hi,

I have recently upgraded to windows 10.

I have created a movie in Windows Movie Maker for an Uni assignment.

I am trying to complete the movie by "saving the Movie" in wmv format.

The movie is only 5mins long.

My problem is that nothing is happening. The application is stopped at Step 1 of 2 : 0% complete!

I have tried, running in as administrator, checking all my source files for the movie, uninstalled, clean rebooted and reinstalled the application. Nothing has made a difference.

Please help, assignment due at the end of this week.

Regards

Alli

The way new TLDs are proliferating it's beyond belief that one cannot edit the list of TLDs to block in Windows Live Mail. And the extremely limited nature of the Rules feature doesn't help either.

Many, if not most, of the new TLDs seem to have been created specifically for spammers.

So, anyone found a way to edit the "TLDs to block" list, so we can block rubbish like .download, .wang, .rocks etc.

I recently upgraded to Windows 10...  which proved to be horrendous for me.  I completely lost Windows "Movie Maker", but I still had Windows LIVE Movie Maker.  Then I googled to find how to add regular Windows Movie Maker back and that worked.  As soon as Windows Movie Maker was back - It deleted Windows LIVE movie maker.  I download my videos from my KODAK camera whose format is NOT compatible with "Movie Maker" - but it IS compatible with Windows LIVE movie maker.  Now I cannot get Windows LIVE movie maker back.  All I can find is plain old "Movie Maker".  Are we not permitted to have BOTH? like before??? and how can I get LIVE movie maker back?

I recently updated to Windows 10 and I was in the middle of making a movie on Movie Maker.  Where I used to see clear images, I see either black screen or error messages.  The audio is fine and I don't have any problems with the other projects I made.  My driver is up to date.  I recently saved the project from a MEG-4 to a Movie Maker and it corrupted the files even more.  I don't know what to do here.  I would like to avoid downloading anything if possible.
