As you can see by the title I have had some issues while installing Windows 10. Good news 10 is finally installed and stable, not going back. Bad news Live Mail (using 2011) is screwed up.

There is two users on my pc that use Live Mail, myself and my wife. We use the pc on separate user accounts, we both use Live Mail. We both have somewhat different issues.

First me: My mail is functioning fine. When I reverted back to 7 the 1st time I lost some folders. Which I would love to find and reinstate. Would truly appreciate the knowledge of how to do so.

My wife: upon starting live mail we are getting a warning "restoring live mail data....". Then it opens she receives and sends ok. Although we have experienced some duplication. Not concerned about duplication have a feeling it may be due to my tinkering. The big issue is there is a lot of messages that refuse to be deleted.

I have tried Repair Live Essential several time without luck. I have read several posts on this community. Before I pull the trigger on anything I want to be certain how to navigate through this with multiple users.

Please help. Will be greatly appreciated.

The other day, I switched from Windows 7 to Windows 10 which was a huge mistake so I switched back to Windows 7. My Windows Live Mail reappeared with multiple entries --sometimes two or three-- of the same message in the INBOX, JUNK and DELETE boxes.

How do I get rid of the hundreds of duplicates?

Also, I am not able to empty the DELETE or JUNK boxes.

Thanks for your help.

Windows 10!!!

My Current PC has went through 2 Upgrades, Two Downgrades, Multiple Factory Restores (Though only one of them was for Windows 10). These were the issues caused by Windows 10. Out of the few times I Upgraded, it turned into tragedy and data loss.

Many Video-Related Programs didn't work, In fact Programs didn't work in general. Critical Errors (Start and Cortana) constantly came up. Windows was Filled With Issues.

However, the single Issue that was still present in Windows 10 During My Second Upgrade Attempt was a Windows Movie Maker Problem. No matter what I Tried (Reinstalls, Suggestions, Exc.) I could not get that program working. Since my PC has Such low Specs, I can't run Any Video Editor except for older Versions of Adobe Premiere and After Effects (Which I Prefer Hitfilm, but that won't run either).

There has to be a way to get Movie Maker to Run. I have my Files Backed up Already Because I have A Feeling my Hard Drive is nearing Its end. If I had to clean install Windows 10 to get Movie Maker Working, It's Fine This Time.

Since downloading Windows 10 I have experienced nothing but problems with my emails let alone the general difficulty with down loading photographs from my camera. OK, I was using Windows XP; such a user friendly system; but now any enjoyment with using my computer has been annihilated using Windows 10.

I am just an ordinary person with just a moddicombe of intelligence but it seems you have to be a computer scientist to understand Windows 10.

Where has the concern for the average (or perhaps below average) user gone?

Not even a manual to refer to.
