I clicked too quickly and accepted the "don't show this notification again" (or something like that) when using Ctrl+S to save a Windows Live Mail email as a draft.  Using Ctrl+S still saves the message as a draft, but I liked the notification so I knew it had accepted my command and I didn't have to check the Draft folder to make sure of it.  I can't find any information on restoring it.  Can anyone help?  Thanks in advance for any help offered.

Hello,

If I am reading all the posts correctly, there is not longer a download for Windows Live Mail for computers running Vista. I have Vista with Service Pack 2 - when I tried to download Windows Essentials 2011 (and the only thing I wanted out of it was WLM, I want to replace my very frustrating Windows Mail program) only parts of the Essentials downloaded and WLM was not.

Are there any other options for me to download a better Mail service or is Vista a fatal liability? It seems to be. Why is Vista always such an exception to so many Windows upgrades?

Thanks for any help.

Windows Live photo Gallery is uploading blank photos to my gallery without my permission. When I try to delete them I get the message;   \OWNER-PCUsersOwnerPictures2010-08-1812.JPG . I tried searching "My PC" for this folder without any luck. I took the computer to Senior Net @ the Senior Citizen Center and found the blank pictures were Japanese symbols and I have no idea where they come from. I would like to know how to get rid of them. They scheme to increase in numbers as time goes by.

Dear All,

I have an existing Live Mail storage folder I want to force Live Mail to use

I propose to close Live Mail. change registry storage key to the path of this existing Live Mail storage folder. rename the storage folder Live Mail is currently using. and then re-open Live Mail

I'm hoping Live Mail will use the the existing folder without creating a new storage folder and copying the files over to it.

What are my chances?  And is the another way to do this?

Background - I've put a Live Mail storage folder in the OneDrive folder on my laptop.  A copy has shown up in the OneDrive folder on my other computer.  I want Live Mail on this other computer to use this storage file and thereby (hopefully) sync Live Mail between the two computers (which won't be used at the same time).  Am I dreaming?

(Both computers run Windows 10)

I use Windows Live Mail 2012 and have gwi.net email .  I run a small business and communicate with my customers regularly.  Over the past few months more and more of my customers are not receiving my emails. I am having two issues:

1. Generally on my end, it looks as though they have received it as the message appears in my SENT box.  However, they cannot find it, even in their spam or junk box.  If I sign into gwi's web based email, they DO receive the email.

2. And sometimes message are sent back to me with this error "host mx.tds.net[64.8.70.104] said: 554 5.7.1 [P4] Message
    blocked due to
spam content in the message. (in reply to end of DATA
    command)"

but it is NOT to from the same people who's emails are just being lost in space.  SOMETIMES if I remove my signature the message will go through, but not always.

Thanks for the help.

I have a short 1:16 video that I edited and saved in Movie Maker as an mp4 file for use on YouTube.  When I open the file to play it in Movie Maker, it is now 2:32; a full second copy of the video has been attached to the end of the original.  I'm in Windows 10.  Why is this and how can I correct it?
