Question about Outlook Express

I took backup of my laptop using windows easy transfer.I installed the new windows 8 and now im trying to restore the backup.

I cant restore my backup as it saying WET couldnt open a file. I tried moving back to win 7 and tried in other windows 7 laptops also i cant restore my data.Any body please help me, it seems like the file is corrupted.Is there any other MIG extractor or reader in which i can retrieve my data (38 gb) as it is very critical. Anybody please help me as im breaking my head for the past 3 days trying almost all the possibilities.

Has anyone successfully loaded and used Windows live mail or Windows essentials on a pc that has been preloaded with Windows 10?

currently use window 7 home premium. upgraded today to windows 10. decided I'm not ready for that so did a restore back to windows 7. Now, in my windows live mail, all my sent items, deleted items, inbox items etc are gone. Is there any way to restore them? Thanks!

I have 5 accounts on windows live mail (Essentials 2012 version) running on Windows 8

About 2 weeks ago one of my hotmail accounts was changed from Outlook.com to Outlook Mail (Preview) and now it won't synchronise.....error message...

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (??????) account.

Server Error: 3219
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00005

I have uninstalled Windows Live Mail and reinstalled it, deleted the account and reinstalled it....but it still won't synchronise.

Is there a solution to this?????

In Windows 10 Photo Gallery, I can't effectively name my pictures. Multiple renaming is a nightmare? Using the shift key to grab multiple pictures then rename them doesn't happen smoothly, if at all? What's going on?
