I'm using Live mail 2012 and I have an email in my Junk folder that whenever I try to delete it or even move it to another folder I get an error message that says "An unknown error has occurred". It has an attachment which I'm not about to open.
What can I do to get it out of my system?
I've upgraded to El Capitan and also to Office for Mac 2011 ver 14.5.8. Outlook was not performing well after the OS upgrade, which is why I went to 14.5.8. As I tried Mail Merge for the first time since the upgrades, it can’t find my Office address book: “Word could not merge the main document with the data source because the data records were empty or no data records matched your query options.”
Outlook clearly shows all my contacts under the header Address Book, so I can’t figure out why Mail Merge can’t find the contacts. I had to rebuild Outlook several times after the upgrades, so I’m not sure if this is the problem.
Since transitioning from Windows 7 to Windows 10 on my two PCs I have had the following issue with Windows Photo Gallery 2012:
All the pictures I select to e-mail (using Outlook 365) will not resize on a consistent basis. For instance, earlier today I selected five pictures to e-mail. Of those two were not resized. A bit later I selected another five pictures and all were resized.
Both PCs are i7s w/ 8 GB ram.
Any suggestions?
Thank you
After Updating to El Cap on my Mac Book Pro running Office 2011 every time I open or reopen my outlook client the window doesn't remember my settings and resizes to about a quarter of the screen. That isn't so bad as all the custom alignments I have made in my viewing window are gone too. I tried the trick of going into he saved config files buried under GO Library and moved them out and back in again and the problem goes away for a while but after about a day the same thing occurs. The procedure called for re entering the 5 files one at a time which I did but none of them caused the symptoms right away. i.e as soon as I put them back. The other problem with this action is that it is very unfriendly and it takes a great deal of reconfiguration each time to get Outlook set back up the way I want to use it.
Anyone else having this problem?
