Hi All,

As the title says I'm having trouble with a clean install of Windows live mail. It's the only part of windows live essentials that I use and have downloaded. It worked fine on the same PC with the same install of windows 7. I had upgraded to win 10 and didn't like it , so I formatted and did a clean install of Win 7 home premium 64 bit. (Not a rollback, a clean install) Now it won't even start the mail program. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. I have tried the offline installer and running as administrator. I have tried all compatibility mode settings :( nothing worked. I even deleted the windows live folders under the hidden "Application data" folder and reinstalled, same error.

Please help?

I just bought a new hardware and built a new PC .I have win 7 pro on the new one .I have my old computer it's running win 7 home .I have msn.com email address .I have outlook email ,and windows live   which I really like for a whole lot of reasons ,especially when  I am searching for a particular email ,or a subject can be read as you put your mouse over it. So, I guess my problem is I do not know how to put windows live on my new computer. Can you help me install windows live mail .Or can i some how copy it and send it to my outlook email account ? The email account is the same address for both accounts   *** Email address is removed for privacy ***  I really like the windows live email program ,as I stated above it is a good email system for me .I have the account ,but maybe i need the software to use it from this computer and I do not know why that would be .I am not a totally tech savvy person in the first place .I have been pulling out my hair for a couple days now .Thank you very much

My notebook is HP ProBook 4540S with a built in WebCam spec'd at 720P.  I have Movie Maker 2012 version and Windows 7.

In the Project Tab, I select 16:9.  When I record on the webcam, I get the vertical black bars, because it is constraining the recording to the 4:3 aspect ratio for some reason.

I opened skype to confirm resolution of my camera, and it appears to be 16:9.

If I open a movie file recorded in HD on my DSLR, Movie Maker displays it fine in 16:9 - correctly.

I can't find a way to make Movie Maker let me record from the built-in webcam in 720 format.  What am I missing?

uninstall windows10 came with the computer install windows 7

I have recently upgraded my Desktop OS to Windows7 Ultimate. I downloaded Windows Live Mail 2012. But I am failing to add my Account credentials on it to view my mail on Outlook Mail. I can open my Account on Outlook Mail server with my Account details. I have tried many options also following all the possibilities I can chalk out on going through the content on Microsoft Community

Hi, so i have been trying to save a video that i made with my mom on windows live movie maker on my old windows 7 laptop (I have made many videos with this program on my old laptop that have saved) but it wont save to a Windows Media Audio/Video file and has been saved to Movie Maker Project file. I had all the picture/videos and a flash drive then used it on my old laptop and at first it would seem like it was loading to save but it would stop. For example the green bar would show up saying it is downloading but the bar would stop at 93% or 95% and then never move no matter how long I left my laptop on. Then I thought maybe it was because all the pictures/videos were on the flash drive and not on the laptop, so I transferred all of it to the laptop then I reloaded the pictures/videos on the program but when I saved it it did the same thing as last time and stay at 93% or 95%. Then I thought maybe its because my laptops windows live movie maker was old so I downloaded the windows 12 version of movie maker but this time the saving screen says "saving movie step 1 of 2: 0%  complete" and stays there no matter how long I leave my computer on. After that I thought maybe its because my laptop is old, so I installed the windows 12 version to my new laptop and uploaded the pictures/videos to that laptop and made the video but it would do and say the same thing as my old computer. I have no idea what to do and I have tried everything I could thing of But I have to have this video saved to WMV before the 12th of December 2015 because my mom needs it. Can anyone help me?

Split from this thread.

"There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service. If the error persists, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative."

This is when attempting to get Windows Live Mail 2011 to operate normally, after it opens offline (every time I try to use the program)

I have the same problem and I did nothing. I clicked "send" on a email and it froze up and started that "don't recognize login, etc"

Out of the blue.

I see nothing in the previous posts that I want to try. It has now been several years since this arose. MS should have an answer.

I use Win 7 with Live email 2012
