I upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7. The upgrade migrated Windows Live Mail into Windows 10. I lost my sound notifications for Live Mail in Windows 10. I have notifications enabled in Windows 10 and in Live Mail. I did a Windows Essentials 2012 repair.
I leave Live Mail open but still get no sound notifications.
This problem started a few weeks ago on our laptop, completely out of the blue. We upgraded to windows live email 2012. No help. Then to windows 10 from 7. No help. She is able to get her email on other devices and I am able to also using windows live mail 2011. We access the same email server.
She can create and send emails but emails she receives have: no from data, subject, the date/time stamps are the same and when you open the email there is nothing there. Here is a snap shot. Any ideas on how to fix?

Today I've come to set up Windows Live Mail 2012 so my dad can access his emails when he needs to, he has a supanet account. I've went through the steps: provided account details, server ports and connections, ticked that it needs authentication when sending and everything like that. It's loaded all his emails perfectly fine but when I'm testing the send function it keeps giving me:
The message could not be sent. The setting for your outgoing email [SMTP] server might need to be configured. To find the server settings for *** Email address is removed for privacy ***', please contact your email service provider.
Subject 'test19'
Server Error: 550
Server Response: 550 You need to authenticate when sending from ***.***.**.*** (IP address)
Server: 'smtp.supanet.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC79
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25

Can anyone help me fix this please
