Windows Live Mail for 8.1: When I close the app, it sometimes says a file is in use and all my email get deleted.

Back in August, there was a MS download and then my WLM froze.  Since then, on a random basis, when I close WLM, it says that a file is in use and all my email get deleted. I thought it was a problem with my antivirus software (I use McCaffee), but it is not always scanning when this error occurs.  Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I'm running Windows 7. In the last couple of days Live Mail 2012 randomly won't open. I restart the computer and then it will open and run just fine. I'm not sure what is going on. Any help would be appreciated.

Error message when editing or adding contact in live mail

I get an error message, contact can not be saved whenever I try to add or edit a contact.

When emailing a photo to someone as an attachment, how do I only send the one photo and not access to all photos on computer.

I just sent an email with 1 photo attached......then noticed once you open the attachment people have access to all the photos on your computer.  How do I stop this from happening again?  Never had this happen to me before but now that I have Windows 10 I can't stop it?  Help.

Can’t install windows movie maker on windows 8

I have done everything the website has told me after getting the same error code (0x80070643) and the source (crt90-i386) I mainly use my windows PC for gaming, but id like to make some videos using movie maker but it will not install, ive turned on my firewall, ran it as administrator, nothing is happening.

After upgrading to Windows 10 I've found out that all my videos which I have in Windows Live Movie Maker won't open on Windows 10.

 

I've installed Windows Live Essentials 2012 with the hope that it will resolve this issue, but still none of my videos will open.

While searching for solutions, I've found quite a few applications to convert wlmp files to a different formats, but I'm afraid of installing any software that may create more trouble.

Any advice will be appreciated.

I'm using Outlook 2011 on OS X 10.9.  When I'm typing in the body of a calendar entry, and I hit "Enter" (on my numerical keypad), it closes the appointment window instead of going to the next line as Return does. I'd like Enter to do what Return does (simply start a new line). How would I do that?

When looking at inbound emails, the body of the message is blank. The text of the message has been moved into note pad as an attachment. Any ideas how to stop this? If I reboot Windows Live,  it works fine for a while.
