Can’t install Movie Maker becasue Essentials says that I already have it but don’t.

Hello, Let's get this out early: Windows 8 sucks, now to the matter on hands.

I had Windows Movie Maker Before but then I deleted Windows Live folder from C:/ Program Files & Program Files (x86). Then later on I attempted to download Movie Maker through Windows Essential but it said I already had it and allowed no counter option, such as repair or uninstall. - But hey it also said that I could install Essentials while offline.. So it isn't exactly trustworthy.. nor is Windows.

I recreated the Windows Live forums in their original folders and tried again but with no positive results.

Side information:

* I have no Movie Maker files accessable on my computer, and have the option to view hidden files on so there mustn't be any other fi- Nope, couldn't do that with a straight face (Even though you opt' in the 'show hidden files' Windows still hides files, you kind off made my Life more difficult with that. - Thank you.

* Loading to a earlier Point, reinstalling/repairing Windows from a DVD/USB, reseting Windows to a Factory setting/Resetting the Windows file without affecting my personal files, isn't a option.

Is Photo Gallery standard on Windows 10, or must it be purchased?

I just got Windows 10 and would like to upload files from my iPad to my PC.  The instructions in iTunes refer to Photo Gallery, but I cannot find anything with that exact name in my list of Apps (it lists "Photos" but not "Photo Gallery"). 

I know this sounds simplistic to you experts, but what exactly is "Photo Gallery" and how can I get it on my PC?  Is it standard on Windows 10, or must it be purchased?  There is tons of information about Photo Gallery on the internet, but I cannot find it on my PC.

Hello everyone,

I recently upgraded to Win 10. As the most of the people, my Mail app would shut down by itself after at least one minute. I uninstalled it. But when I search for Mail app in the store all I can find is Outlook. Not the one that I uninstalled, the Mail app. How do I find that app and install it?

I am not using WLM for windows 10 because of certain problems:

How do I find my listed contacts in my c:UsersjhmacAppData . . . ?

I am using the 2007 edition of WLM and the contacts are easily found in the Windows Live Mail folder, so I am still using that edition.

There are other problems with the new win 10 WLM which I don't like because it is set up differently than 2007 ed.

If I felt pleased using the new WLM I would be using it.

Maybe you could show me where I find my contact list so that I could add to it or edit it and then I could start appreciate the new edition.

Windows Live Mail shuts down after installing update December 2015

I have downloaded Windows 10 and have been using Live Mail with no problem until I installed an update today, 12/17/15.  Now Live Mail opens and immediately shuts down.  I have no idea what the file name is for this download so I can uninstall the update.

Can anyone help?  I understand that Live Mail will be phased out shortly..should I just use the Mail (outlook) program that came with Windows 10?
