Question about Outlook Express

I am using Windows Live mail in Windows 10 and have recently been getting an error message about calendar updates failing. The message says:

"There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service. If the error persists, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative."

I do not use the calendar and would not have a problem turning the updating off but I do not see an option for that. I have checked for updates to Live Mail and do not see any. I can download all of my email just fine it is just the calendar update that fails. Is there some way to stop updates to the calendar service or does anyone know what the problem may be? I can logon to my account online.

I received an e-mail recently from Microsoft telling me to download an update for Windows Live Mail or I would soon lose access. I downloaded that update on December 12th.

Since then I have lost the ability to see e-mails in sub-folders that I had created. I have the folders (e.g. "Friends and Family"), but have lost the sub-folders (e.g. names of specific individuals).

Any suggestions??

Can you give more information?  Why is it a "might"?  What is changing?

Yahoo mail just updated and added and archive function.  Now my Yahoo account does not sync properly in Windows Live Mail 2012  I get Error 0x800CCCD2.

Is the change to the live.com account or to Windows Live Mail?  I tried to download the update at the "here" link and nothing happened.

Spent couple of hours trying to get photos from camera to PHOTOS APP and PHOTOGALLERY without success. Tried Google Picasa without success.

Is the camera not supported?
