I need some guidance and help. I've lost control of my photos after the upgrade from Windows 7 to 10.  Until now I've uploaded photos from  an SD card onto Pictures This PC where one folder was created for each group of photos. Typically I take many photos, as I do this for work, and number each photo in the folder to keep track of which is which and I'm also able to name the folder with the name or names of the clients.

Not anymore since the update. I don't even have the option of choosing how to open the photos. The new photo app takes over and lumps the photos by the month they were shot. The computer downloads the photos as it wants, I lose the numerical sequence and I can't even name or specifically date the file (full date not just a general date).  The app creates albums for me for which I not care. If I wanted albums, I'd like to create them myself. Moreover, when I put the SD card in the SD reader, the app downloads the photos but it does not recognize the SD reader. It ask for a device from which to import the photos only recognizing my printer or a thumb drive I've stuck in one of the USB ports.

Not being able to create an individual folder for a set of photos, name and date such a folder is making my work much more difficult. I'd like to be able to download the photos as before, into the This PC Pictures or somehow create individual files for each set of photos that I can name and date. Any guidance, help, suggestions as to how I can do this will be greatly appreciated care not to post, share or broadcast photos over social media nor to have them in the cloud, One Drive or anything else.   .

Thank you.

Johnny

I have windows movie maker with the most recent build from windows essentials 2012. Ive done many hours of trouble shooting. My graphics are up to date. I used a codec fixer and that had be disable some xvid thing, and that made it worse(nothing except audio would work). So as of now normally i can see an into video i use which is a previously editted mp4 video from movie maker. but my other clips im adding in after it that are also mp4 take forever to load. maybe like 15 minutes to load a 30 second clip. and if i pause it it needs to reload it. or go off the clip and come back it needs to reload it. when i add in audio or images i can view those. also when i go to save. its stuck at 0% on step 1 of 2. if you need any information please comment and ill add it in. any help is much appreciated. thank you loads! this has been causing me loads of trouble and as im trying to make money off of making videos its very crucial i figure this out. and nothing im doing is helping.
This happened out of nowhere. Responded to email (successful) and 2 hours later this error message "authentication failed (#5.7.1)" appeared. Then "authorization failed" followed when next email sent and since unable to send or receive. This is second time this has happened. Running ElCapitan with Outlook 14.5.9. "authentication failed (#5.7.1)

Since we converted to Windows 10, Live Photo gallery isn't correctly reading the "date taken" when photos are uploaded from camera

On 12/16/15; my email acct. through WLM started asking me for my log on credentials - username & password. I have had this set up for 3 yrs., w/out having this box popping up until the 16th. I enter the info., & it just keeps popping up. If I cancel out I get

"Unable to send or receive messages for the XXX account. An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your user name and password for this account.

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC92

My username & pw are correct. All my protocols are correct - I have verified them countless times w/ATT.I have uninstalled & reinstalled WLM; initiated an email repair. I have run security checks. Rebooted, etc...I have spent hours looking at all these diff. forums w/out finding an answer or doing what is suggested. I can log onto my email through a browser. I am at a loss!! Any ideas?
