Hi there

I've just bought a Windows 10 Lumia 550 phone

I've assigned my Office 365 account to the handset

I cannot download or update any apps from the Store

The only way to do it was to create a new Microsoft Account

Is there anyway to link the 2 accounts into one, or am I missing something basic?

many thanks

Gary

Hello! I have recently wanted to install Windows Live Movie Maker, but it is trying to install on the drive that doesn't have much space left, so the installation continues to fail. I have a second hard drive that has plenty of space, so I'm wondering, is it possible to change the download path?

I recently applied for a vacancy for work whilst browsing on Microsoft Edge.

When it was time to send the application Windows Live Mail 2012 popped up and I filled all details in and pressed send. I assumed this had all gone to plan until 3 days later when I was asking a question on Shpock. Again this was on Microsoft Edge and windows live mail 2012 popped up and there was the error box telling me the email did not send as my settings were incorrect.

I cant find on my pc where 2012 is to be able to make these changes. Any help would be appreciated.

I am now using Windows 10 mail & need room on my hard drive. Can I delete Windows Live Essentials or any component of it like the email or do I need the files for other programs? I have deleted other programs I was told I didn't need on the HP forum & even after a restore am still having problems. Can anyone tell me for sure if I can do this?

I have two computers remote from each other. One is Win 7 and one is Vista but this doesn't seem to make any difference if they are both Windows Mail programs. When I change locations, I copy the Windows Mail files from Computer 1 to a flash drive and take it to Computer 2, and it doesn't seem to matter which Computer is 1 or 2. When I get to Computer 2, I go to the Windows Mail file and erase the contents (contents, not the entire sub file) of each sub file and copy the contents of that sub file name from the flash drive to the file in Computer 2 that I erased. Complicated but I found I have to do it that way because Windows Mail only recognizes the sub file names that it generated in that computer but it will recognize the transferred files from another Windows Mail computer that are copied into those file names.

Besides this being infinitely more time consuming and problematic that transferring Outlook Express between computers, my problem is that there ends up being multiple email message names for the same message but all but one of them will be empty with the message that this message cannot be found. My question is therefore, is there somewhere in the Windows Mail combination of files that remembers the headers of all the messages that it contained  after I erase the messages within the sub files? When I copy these files from another computer back and forth a couple of times, are all of the message headers still there from old erased messages but have no content because I erased only the content? If I can find that file and if it is structured in some sensible way,  can I delete that also and just copy that file from the Computer 1 files from the flash drive that I bring to Computer 2. As it is, the sub files become very large because they are full of null messages.

I know this is difficult to understand and it took me a long time to even figure this out but I will never understand why Microsoft didn't keep the same file structure as Outlook Express that allowed me to just copy and paste the entire set of mail files from one computer to another.

I'm having issues just with opening a new email or replying/forwarding.

I get a pop up saying "A problem occurred while trying to open this message, A problem occurred. Please try again"

I was getting a message on opening live to sign again for security, then it said my pop3 server password was wrong.

This has all been sorted.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled live, plus deleted as much as I could from the registry and deleted the account in live.

Works fine on phone and via virgin mail just seems to be this PC.

Running windows 10 pro and now using Live mail downloaded from Windows essentials 2012.

Not sure what version of live mail I was using when it went wrong

No changes made prior to issue starting.

Please note this question was originally posted by mistake on "writer" forum

How do I get Mail to default into opening the images in my mail I have received? Opening the images in each mail get to be tedious and I can get through my mail faster if all the information is ready to be viewed.

ref Outlook for mac2011. After installing update 14.6.0  I only have access to incoming e-mails. Outbox, drafts, and all other sections, plus historic folders, have all disappeared. I can send e-mails but cannot see them after they have gone ( I only know they have gone because of the replies I receive!). Shall be most grateful for any assistance to solve this serious problem.
