Hi

I am using Windows Live Mail 2012 on a Windows 7 machine for Email and Hotmail Calendar. I have some calendars which i have added myself and colour coded and an imported calendar within the Calendar.

For years this has worked well but today several issues have occurred.

1) All the calendars within Windows Live Mail Calendar have turned to the same colour (pink) so i cannot see which Event belongs to which calendar.

2) Some calendars have duplicated themselves in the tick list of calendars. e.g. there are two called "calendar" and another two called "Calendar" and an imported calendar appears three times with an identical name.

3) My imported calendar, although it appears three times in the tick list, and is ticked three times, is not showing any of its events. If i go to Calendar on the internet, the events are there.

4) Conversely, one of my calendars does show its events in Windows Live Mail, but is not showing its events on Calendar on the internet.

Please could you advise on fixing these issues

thanks ...

Hello, I'm using Outlook 2011 for Mac and ever since I moved to a new host, my sent emails appear in my inbox. I don't have any rules in place. Can someone help me? Thanks!

I have duplicates and triplicates of folders that I don't even need. The folders are un-deletable. For a guy with some OCD, Ha, this is driving me crazy. I have 2 "Deleted Messages" Folders, one has my name and one has my email addy. I have 2 Inboxes. The main inbox then an inbox folder with 5 inbox folders within it and each of them has an "Apple to do" folder within it. I have duplicates of Spam folders, folders I didn't create even and they are un-deletable.

Anyone have helpful information for me? Please!

hello all,  Ive been using windows live mail for a while and havent see anything about not using it in win10.  the win10 upgrade advisor said ALL my programs would migrate.  yesterday I upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10.  and problems:

I cant run windows live mail - it doesnt show up in the search function.

I cant install it - win10 says its already installed (i had win 7 windows essentials 2012)

I cant repair it - no  option for repair.

I cant uninstall it - win10 says it isnt there.

the only wlmail.exe is in windows.old which is my win 7 files.

I installed the whole windows live essentials  - the other 4 programs show up but mail does NOT.

I did the restore Windows 7 option and now have access to email.    before I try the upgrade again

how does one get windows live mail to work in windows 10?

any ideas?  thank you.

Using Windows 7, I have just turned the PC on and Live Mail has "recovered" my mail. While the In Box is fine, the various folders under Storage are either fine, or totally corrupted where all emails in a single folder are all the same (one of the emails seems to be saved over all), are a strange mix or are just "Message cannot be found". Does anyone know how to get a restore off the server where I assume the originals are stored?

After browsing to the folder that contains the OE files, I get a message:

'No messages can be found in this folder or another application is running that has the required files open.

Please select another folder or try closing applications that may have files open.'

I did make the process work once, but realised I had missed some folders when making my back up copy.  So decided to start from scratch.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled Windows Live Mail but still get the same message.  I have tried importing from my pocket hard drive and tried copying the files to a location on my new  Windows 8.1 computer.

Always get the same message.

(I have successfully imported my contacts.)

What should I do?

Hi

I am trying to add a 2nd e-mail address but keep getting this message.  I have checked all the details are correct but still have the same issue.  Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks.
