Windows Live Mail 2012 cannot send mail. I'm getting this error:
The connection to the server has failed.
Subject 'Test'
Server: 'smtphm.sympatico.ca'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): Yes
Socket Error: 10013
Bell's alternate port is 587 and I've tried it as well. Has anyone been able to get this to work?

Acabo de instalar windows 10 y ahora no puedo imprimir mis email... que rabia, porque ademas yo no pedi windows 10 sino que hizo la descarga sola... yo estaba comoda con el windows 8, pero descargo automaticamente el 10 y ahora no puedo imprimir mis email, es el primer cambio que he notado hasa ahora, que debo hacer.?
When an incoming email contains a virus, Avira quarantines it. Outlook does not know this is happening, so it ends up with a database that points to a missing file.
Outlook won't let me view or send emails until I rebuild the database, which takes forever.
I have a workaround: tell Avira to restore the virus email, and then Outlook is happy again. Knowing the identity of the bad email, I can delete it from Outlook. I just have to be careful not to open it, even in the preview pane.
But this is an annoying process, especially when it happens several times a day as it did last week for several days.
Is there any way to tell Outlook to ignore a missing file and just trash the pointer to it?
I made a movie by using movie maker. But after I've saved it as Facebook format and played it again; only audio is coming not the pictures. Please help me I'm using this for first time.

I have Windows 7 with Windows Live Mail and over the last few months it has been occasionally refusing to receive mail. for the last week it now does not receive mail on a daily basis. I have to remove the mail account and create a new one and this only seems to works for a day! I can of course go online and see my email on Outlook.Com but that is not very satisfactory. I have also had a problem with Windows Explorer on a daily basis where my laptop seems to freeze for a while and then I get a message saying Windows Explorer has crashed and is searching for a solution. this has been happening for months and I have not received one solution from Microsoft. The silly think is I can receive my Windows Live Mail on my Iphone and Ipad without any problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
