Sometime, content of Email message font size happened irregular size randomly. This is embarrassing for sender. Could you advice to me how can i solve this?

Trying to fix an issue on my fathers computer.
He's using Windows Live Mail to host his email account from the ISP (eg: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***). Personally I hate these email accounts and want him to move to a Gmail or Outlook online email account, but he wants to stick with this... Anyway, for some reason recently it keeps downloading thousands of his old emails that he's deleted. I've found other forums posts saying to right click on the Inbox or other folders, go to Properties, Synchronizing tab, then change it so that it only synchronizes new emails.
When I get him to right click on the inbox or others, and then going into Properties, this properties window only has a General tab that lets you rename the folder.
Any ideas how I can fix this? Are there other ways to change this setting.

I made a slideshow. In fact, it was so long, I burned it onto 2 cd's and their 1 hour long each. My question is, I saved the slideshow, both parts 1 and 2 onto my computer in the video section. I would like to post only the first 10 minutes of part one
onto facebook. How do I shorten the video while it's on my computer and? It is no longer saved on Movie Maker, so I can't access it that way to shorten it any longer. I just want to show family and friends a certain part of this slideshow and I'm pulling
my hair out trying to figure out how I do that. It's probably something so simple, but I am not the most computer savvy person out there!
I need help with updating calendar in outlook. When I log into WLM the calendar lists an error message that it cannot update. Can anyone give me some advise on what to do. I have WLM 2012 installed on windows 7. Thanks in advance
