I cannot always open an attachment in an email.  The attachments are on Word or Excel, both supported by my computer.  I  have closed the Windows Live Mail and then re-opened it, with no change.

First I left-click twice on the attachment. When nothing happens, I try right-clicking, click on open.  Nothing happens.  Then I right-click on 'Copy' but cannot copy to Word.  I also tried 'Save-as' but could not find the document.

Sometimes the attachment will open and sometimes it will not.

I am running Windows Live Mail 2015 on Windows 10.  I want to export the all the contacts to back them up and also so they can be later imported into another email problem.  Either comma or tab separated fields is OK.  But I cannot find an export menu. Help please.

I want you remove parts of a video movie that I recorded while I was kayaking down the Kern River.  There is a bunch of dead time that I want to cut out of the video but as far as I tell, there is no option to do this inside Windows Live Movie Maker.  All that is provided is a trim function that allows you to setup a start and finish time and only trims from the outside of the video and not the inside.  Any Ideas as to why you cannot cut, remove and/or delete parts of a video using Windows Live Movie Maker?

An example:  I want to keep the beginning of the video all the way through to about 15 minutes into the video at which point 15 minutes into the video is my starting point of what I want to remove from my video.  From this point I want to remove the next 16.5 minutes following the 15 minute mark of the video.

I have tried selecting the start of the 15 minutes after the video starts and selecting the 16.5 minutes afterwards but ll that happens is that everything from the start of the video and inward to the 15 minute mark of the video gets deleted and the same holds true for everything from the 16.5 minutes following the 15 minute mark all the way to the end of the video gets deleted too.

It should be the opposite.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am a content creator on YouTube and to make the kind of content that I do you need a microphone. I use a high quality microphone that connects via XLR, and in order to get the XLR connection into the computer I have to use an audio interface. Unfortunately, the interface exports the audio file in mono, meaning you only hear the audio in one ear/one speaker as opposed to both. The apps that I use to record audio and stuff have features that force the mic pickup to stereo, however the windows movie maker webcam capture feature does not, at least not one that I can find. I was wondering if anyone knew of a feature if there even is one. Is there a feature to do so? Is there something you must do to the audio track after recording? If not, does anybody know any software that I can use to make this possible? If not it's fine, I'll just find another webcam software and work from there, but considering WMM is free and extremely simple to use, it'd be great if it had one. Thank you!

Hardware used if you need the info:

Mic: Audio Technica AT2020 XLR Studio Condenser Microphone  (http://bit.ly/1NfEmnv)

Interface: M-AUDIO MTRACK II (http://bit.ly/1NMQz2R)

Recording Software(s): FRAPS

Editing Software(s): Sony Vegas Pro 13.0

Original Title: Windows Live MAIL

I am running windows 7 Ultimate on my Dell PC.  Everything had been working until my hard drive started to crash.  I installed a new hard with a clean install of windows 7 Ultimate on it.  I did the windows easy transfer to get all of my files and such to the new hard drive.

When I try to open Windows Live Mail I get the following message:

I have tried uninstalling windows live mail and all of windows essentials.  I have tried the command prompt to uninstall windows live mail, and i have tried the removal of the HKEY found in other posts.  Everytime I get everything off the computer and then reinstall Essentials, I get the same error message.  I have also tried to repair Essentials.

Nothing is working.  I have everything backed up on my old hard drive which is still accessible but I would really like to get Windows Live Mail working again.

Any Suggestions?

Thanks
