Original Title: Windows Mail Live in Windows 10.

I have a new laptop with Windows 10 on it.  My old laptop had Vista on it.   I browsed various forums and am in a quandary as to what to do to get Windows Mail on the new laptop.  I did find a Windows Mail folder in Windows Explorer after guidance from one of the posts.  However, the folder does not have an application file or any way to activate it.  So much for "live and well in Windows 10".  I am reluctant to download the application from the searches as I need to be sure it is a current download.  So many of the search results are older and Microsoft may have updated/fixed any glitches.  I have always used Windows Mail as I track 5 different e-mail addresses and it is the easiest for my needs, especially with one inbox.  How do I get the program download and do I need to know anything that needs to be tweaked once downloaded?

I recently purchased and installed Office for Mac.  All parts are activated and appear to function correctly except for Outlook.  When I start Outlook it asks me for the Product Key.  When I enter the key that came with the package I get a message that the key is invalid.  why would that be?

I have asked the above trouble for me. Some people answered me. Then I have used their hints but still without success. Please help me because I already have lost more tham 20 hours and ... nothing new.

My computer is running under Windows 7 Ultimate operating system. The processor itself is named T9400 (so called 64-bits).

Movie Maker was installed and unintalled several times during last week from official Microsoft page (together with Microsoft Security Essentials of course).

The result is still the same ("sound of black screen") and my knowledge is finished.

Kindest Regards.

I have just set-up two step verification for my Hotmail account.

I needed to generate an app password so that I could continue using my Hotmail on my Windows Live Mail 2012 email app.

Whenever I entered the password into the window, a separate window would open up asking me to enter a PIN. When I clicked on OK it would then take me back to the password window again, which would have the old password in it.

I would then re-enter the new app password, and the same thing would happen. So I am stuck in a loop.

I contacted Microsoft about this and because Windows Live Mail 2012 is a free app, they don't support it and they told me to ask the community.

Can anyone help me?

I have WLM on Win7Pro SP1 and I am on Office365-2016. I want to convert my emails to Outlook pst. I have contacts, no problem.

For emails, I have tried the export inside WLM, but with 90,000+ emails, it hangs in various folders (security software disabled). I have tried several third party products, but they are not usable for large email accounts. HELP!!! thanks, Ken

Hello, I made the mistake of upgrading from W8.1 to W10, within 24 hours I re-instated W8.1. However of course it is not that simple, now I cannot open a PDF or a Jpeg within the Outlook email app. I can right click and save but it does not question where I would like it saved and it seems to be saving in the photo app. Whilst I mention the photo app, I can no longer transfer a photo to my desktop account and of course it lost the one that was there before all the changes. Back with the email programme it is also now not possible to send a PDF file, strangely enough I can attach it and call it up from within the email but not send it. I have looked at the forums and check various settings but cannot find the one that might be blocking the feature, any ideas anyone?

Thanks

Brian
