Question about Outlook Express

I have my main windows pictures folder designated as the only folder for photo gallery to look at however I also have my OneDrive pictures folder mounted on the same volume. Within the software I have chosen it to be the default library. However periodically when I launch the app it also includes the OneDrive pictures folder too.

I usually just right click on the OneDrive pictures folder and tell it to remove from gallery - which it does - but then it will pick it up again later. I have not been able to determine how long or after how many app opens it shows up after but it happens.

Why does Photo Gallery keep picking up this folder. It is named "Pictures" but I have not assigned it to the gallery.

using internet explorer to send a pdf as an attachment using windows live mail (default mail), pdf is received as a .dat file.

already checked the "Break apart messages larger than ... "is NOT selected

I have been using WLM on a XP machine for many years. I have 3 hotmail accounts and they all work fine until the sent folder disappeared on one account. I tried for hours to get it back but gave up. The account has about 2gb of emails so I didn't want to completely remove and reload everything.

I have now bought a new Windows 10 PC and installed WLM and set up my 3 hotmail accounts, all I had to do was enter the address and it automatically sorted everything out (after a couple of hours downloading).

The sent folder is also missing from the same account on this PC.

I think there must be something different on the outlook.com server doing this.

This is synced by deltasync NOT IMAP

The messages are correctly stored on outlook.com in the "Sent" folder. The setting page refers to "Sent Items" folder which there isn't but this is the same on my other 2 working accounts.

This account does sync correctly using Ubuntu & thunderbird using IMAP.

Does anybody know how to fix this (other than using IMAP to sync)

Since yesterday, I have been getting spam in my inbox that has not gone directly to my junk mail folder.

I cannot delete and I get a message that says I cannot view due to lack of memory.

When I try to delete, a box comes up with "An unknown error has occurred".

Also, I cannot open the content.

Has anyone else experienced this issue and know haw to remedy?

I have a few categories in WLM.  I have no idea how one called "Favorites" got added but I want to remove it.  I followed the instructions above but "Delete category" does not appear after hovering the mouse pointer over the "Favorites" category name.  "Delete category" appears in all other categories highlighted but not for the "Favorites" one.  Not idea why or what to do.  Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions!
