Original title: Delete unwanted messages

I am running Windows Live Mail Version 11 on Windows 10 operating system.  I have 14 messages that were sent to my email account on 6/1/16 and 5/31/16.  These messages cannot be deleted, moved, etc. from my inbox.  Error Message box says "unknown error occurred."   How can I get rid of these messages.  Seems like the junk mail (?) sort was not working on these days.

I've been running Windows 10 and using Windows Live Mail for quite some time.  I am just having this problem.  When I start up the Windows Live Mail application it comes up and starts checking for new messages.  I have a total of 6 email addresses that it is set up to check. It goes through the first two addresses quickly, but fails on the third.  I get the following Error information on the third address:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Gmail (myemailaddressname) account. Header download for the 'Inbox' folder did not complete.

Server Response: Your IMAP command could not be sent to the server, due to non-network errors. This could, for example, indicate a lack of memory on your system.
Server: 'imap.gmail.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80004005
Protocol: IMAP
Port: 993
Secure(SSL): Yes

It then goes to the fourth, fifth and sixth email address and completes them without problem. That box then stays on the screen.  The program never comes up.  I still see the entry graphic for "Window Live Mail 2012    Starting..." and the little spinning circle on top of it.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Windows Essentials.  That did not help.  The uninstall did not eliminate the email addresses that are configured.  When I reinstalled, it started with email address 1 and went through to 6 and failed at the 3rd one like before.

I have gone to gmail.com and looked at email on this account.  I also deleted several hundred email to make sure it was not hitting some limit of number of emails and failing because of that.

I wish that I knew how to open windows live mail without it doing the automatic send and receive on startup.  I bet there is some key to hold down on startup to make it not do that, but I have no clue what that might be.

Any ideas?

I made about a 30 minute video.  I put every image and video I wanted to use into one folder on my computer.  After everything was finished I clicked save movie. It goes through the process of converting the video, but after waiting 30 minutes I get an error message saying there may be a missing codec, the files are removed, or something else that doesn't make sense.  I checked to make sure all the pictures and videos had the right file format and they do.  I made sure I had the lasted version of movie maker. Also everything plays fine when I first open the file in the player, but after I try to save it and waiting for 30 minutes, the error messages come up and the file won't even play in the movie maker any more. I need a solution.

I am using Windows Live Mail and one of my email addresses (@msn.com) will not connect and shows a box saying:-

" Unable to send or receive messages for the Peter's MSN account. An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your username and password for this account.

erver Error: 0x800CCC90

Server Response: -ERR Authentication failure: unknown user name or bad password. [Error="ProxyNotAuthenticated" AuthResult=0 Proxy=HE1PR08MB0507.eurprd08.prod.outlook.com:1995:SSL]

Server: 'pop3.live.com'

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC92

Protocol: POP3

Port: 995

Secure (SSL): Yes "

I am using windows 8.1 and a second email address (@Hotmail.co.uk) still works OK.    Nothing else has changed on my computer.

Any suggestions?
