Question about Outlook Express

Running Windows 10 and Windows Live Mail 2012. The program fails to load when my computer is first opened it hangs trying to open  and eventually shuts down. Trying to restart the computer while WLM is trying to start is impossible unless the program is stopped in "task manager". Live mail opens correctly on the second start of the computer.

I have tried a repair of Live essentials and un-installing and re-installing Live essentials all to no avail.

I run a Windows 10 laptop as well. It has the same problem.

Appreciate a fix please !

Can you tell me if there is a way to drag and drop email messages in Windows Live Mail (Win 10) directly to the calendar?  Similar to Outlook.   I find I have to manually add calendar appointments, which can be time-consuming.  Any help is appreciated!

I'm using Windows Live Mail 2012, recently I keep getting the 'bing' sound and the icon notification for a new email, but no email actually arrives.

Nothing in inbox, nothing in junk, no email anywhere. I don't know if it's just a random notification or if emails are actually getting lost somewhere. It has been happening at least once a day for the last week or so (happened three times in the course of typing this).

I've sent myself a couple of test emails and had a friend do the same, they all came through. I have both a hotmail account and my isp email account, the emails sent to the hotmail address seemed to be slower than usual.

At the moment I have two unread emails sitting in my inbox but Mail says I have four unread.

Anyone know what's going on?

I just downloaded version 12 of Windows Movie Maker onto a new computer.  I am VERY comfortable using WMM but when I drag the videos to movie maker they only show the lines for the audio but no video.  (The video does not show up but the audio is there.)

Anyone have any ideas what I have to do to get the video to show up?

My taskbar has moved from the bottom to the right, and I cannot figure out how to return it to the bottom.  The taskbar section of control panel was no help.
