Hi Bob,

Your reply gave helpful insight. I have a similar issue, but rather than using outlook I'm looking to use Microsoft 365 file share to import the list, from excel, to file share so that i can create a group to send out the same email too.

I am also using a Mac desktop, although i am unsure of the version it is (quite old as it still has a disc drive at the side)

Also i am looking to merge my contacts from my outlook to the file share space as well, but i am working with an older version of outlook and the latest version of file share, do you recommend that i update my outlook or is it necessary?

Any help you can give i'll really appreciate.

Kind regards,

Caoimhe

Hi. Any suggestions on how to simply install Live Essentials? I'm trying to get Movie Maker installed, on a super fast connection, and the icon spins while saying "preparing to install," then 15 minutes later says it can't and be sure you are connected to the web. More clumsy management - any suggestions? Thanks!
The Apple Store installed Office for Mac 2011 from my MacBook Pro to my new iMac.  Everything seems to be working except "Contacts Search".  Nothing comes up when I type in a search.  The Search function still works on the same version on my old MacBook Pro.

How can I fuse photos? I just purchased a Lenovo ideapad 100S for travel since it is lightweight.  It has Windows 10 with a new photos program.  I was hoping to use the Photo Gallery fuse option, but I see no fuse in the Photos app.   My laptop is only 1.33 Ghz.  Is there a new program that includes photo fuse that can run on these small laptops?

Server Error: 3204
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003

I tried the suggested solution via the below link several times and it did not work.

i.e.  https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/kb/2842520

What I did find to work was to;

MY APPARENT SOLUTION - STEPS

1. log into the account via the web browser ( via outlook.com )

2. Setup the phone security option for the account

3. Wait for the security SMS code

4. Enter the security SMS code

5. Delete the Windows Live Mail 2012 account in the Live Mail application

6. Add the account back in the Windows Live Mail 2012 application

7. Click Send / Receive and wait patiently a few minutes.

8. SUCCESS ! Now it worked and synced properly.

Thus I'm wondering of it's some security blocking system that stops people adding the account, until its security is set up via the phone or perhaps via another email account?

NOTE: Several other accounts I use that I set up in Windows Live Mail 2012 were working OK. It was just one account that was not working. I'm pretty sure the other accounts do have the security phone number or email set up.

Anyway perhaps worth a try if you have no luck with the suggested Microsoft solution.

Saving Movie Maker projects to vid file now presents 2 options: MPEG4 or WMV. I've sometimes used one, sometimes the other, but now trying to burn a DVD (in DVD Maker) it says it can't code / decode some of the files. It doesn't say which ones. Which of the MM options are compatible with DVD Maker? The old "Live" Movie Maker didn't have this problem. (I'm using Windows 7.)

I've got a annoying issue with windows movie maker. When i edite videos the quality is very poor so if i try to make a snapshot it will look awfull comparing to the rest of the video. It's very strange because my footage is of good quality and it changes it to **** quality and if i export to HD it will be back at good quality.

Plz help!!

I've just installed Moviemaker 2016.  I loaded a video to play around, and I see that in the playback window there are only 3 buttons, to play the clip, and to skip  to the previous or next frame.  There is no pause button, nor any volume control button.  Are these buttons really missing or am I doing something stupid?  I don't want to change the volume of the clip itself, only make it higher or lower whilst I'm editing

Thanks in advance for your help

As of today 11 July 2016 I'm unable to send or receive messages from/to my live.co.uk account using Windows Live Mail on Windows 10.

Windows Live repeatedly asks me to sign in. I've done this, repeatedly. I've signed out and signed in again. I've sent emails from my browser, but cannot send them from Windows Live.

Any clues?

I'm not impressed that MS cannot make their own software work on their own platform. And before you advise me to switch to Outlook, Outlook is unable to handle my other accounts. That's why I am sticking to Live Mail, which worked ok until yesterday.

I don't need yet more bells and whistles. I just need the basic things to work, efficiently, all the time.

Hello,

Due to my translated family name in English contains a banned word. And the system denies to change.

I've tried to contact the support service in Thailand. And they said that I must post my query here.

My actual name is Siriwut Charoensinporn. (I use it even in my passport.)

So, is there any ways to change into my real name?
