I want to increase the fonts of all the toolbars; top of page choices, received email titles, and perhaps folder titles.  I know how to change for Compose.

For a couple months now Windows Live Mail will only receive mail. I get this error message.

Delete the photo email, create a new one, and try to send it again.

Server: 'smtp.att.yahoo.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8CCC0003
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 587
Secure(SSL): Yes

This is with all email. Any ideas?

I want to switch my email from Outlook.com to Windows Live Mail. I have Windows 10 and my email acct does not end with @Hotmail, @outlook.com or @msn. I know it can be done because my last computer had Windows 10 and I had WLM.

I use Windows 10 Photo Gallery Live to generate an email.  It goes through the process of taking the photos selected in PG Live, reduces the images to a smaller size, and creates an email.  I then go to Windows Live Mail to Send it.  It ends up automatically in the Outbox and when attempting to resend it causes an error.

An unknown error has occurred.

Server: 'smtp-server.nc.rr.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8007007A
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No

If I use Windows Live Mail to create the email first and ATTACH photos, I can then send the email without an error.  I prefer that the photos be in the body of the email which used to work pre-Windows 10 so that the receiver gets to see the larger image rather than a thumbnail.

Is there a fix for this??

I get told there's a problem each time I try and update it - it gets a third of the way through and then stops.  Both Essentials and Defender say they are out of date but each attempt to update them fails.

Split from this thread.

I'm having the same problem--ever since Outlook was updated, I have not been getting most of my Yahoo Groups mail at my Windows Live account.  I'm running Win10.  Ironically, I just declined to answer a survey that started, "Would you recommend Windows Live to other people?" At this point, the answer is emphatically NO. I do not think the problem is at my end, because before the "upgrade" I was getting my mail with no problems. I think Microsoft has the problem and Microsoft needs to fix it.  Otherwise I, and a lot of other folks, are going to be switching email providers in the near future.

I can there are plenty of us with similar issues after hitting the upgrade button, would have thought Microsoft would have fixed it by now?

Delete the photo email, create a new one and try to send it again.
