Question about Outlook Express

I wonder if someone can help me with this problem.

I switched  email servers to gmail and on my Gmail website I had no problem sending or receiving messages. My problem is that I installed Gmail on Windows Live Mail and initially could not log in but thanks to Canadian Tech's msg about allowing less secure apps I could then log in and receive email messages. I still cannot send messages. If I compose a msg and press Send it appears that the msg was sent, but it wasn't.   I am running Windows 7.

My servers are setup as:   incoming:   POP.gmail.com  port =  995

why do I keep losing access to my Hotmail accounts on windows live & cant get them back ever since I took the windows 10 upgrade?

the only way I get access to Hotmail accounts is thru outlook now. having multiple issues with win.10 , not just email.

Did windows cancel support for Photo Gallery? Help screen just refers to Microsoft support and after long chat, they were no help. Specific problem--why doesn't "crop" button work? It did in the past.  Scanned small photo and can't crop the scanner background.  Also wanted to retain the sepia color of photo, but it will only scan in gray tone.  Tried Paint but that didn't work either. Is there a better app to download?

When I delete an email in Windows Live Mail, the message doesn't go into the Deleted folder? Why not?

I can't edit my pictures anymore.  Photo gallery is giving me the message error 0x80040154.   Can't us paint either.  How do I fix the error.
