Question about Outlook Express

Hi

Looking for a bit of advice please.

I am running windows 7 on my laptop and have been using livemail for email with no problems for years, until last week when I just stopped receiving emails..

I am able to send them ok, and the green bar tells me that they are downloading when I update/ refresh - but nothing gets downloaded.

Any help would be appreciated

So, I have about 5,000 pictures on my computer and I wanted to organise this mess, so I got Photo Gallery from Windows live essentials 2012.

As I'm creating tags and applying them to every picture, it's going to take a lot of time and if my computer crashes for any reason, I don't want all that work to go to waste, so I'm wondering if there's any way to save and backup the tags along with their respective pictures. 

that's the reason why I made this thread, however, any kind of help and advice regarding sorting/organising a large amount of pictures would be greatly appreciated

A while ago I got "Visipics" in order to find duplicates, it works even if the pictures are slightly edited or in another orientation, however, I wonder if there's a better software out there

In order to find the source of images, I use google image search, however, most of the time it's unsuccessful 

Speaking of Photo Gallery specifically, I have a few minor problems with it:

-despite having turned off face detection and recognition, it still tries to detect faces in pictures 

-despite having selected to not ask me again, it still asks me every time I start it up, if I want to open JXR files

-pictures "date taken" is incorrect sometimes and requires to be manually edited 

-it doesn't support animations

While writing an email tonight I mis hit some combination of keys.  It changed the visual view of the email.  The actual font of the email is unchanged, but it now displays much smaller.  I tried:  changing the font and changing it back, saving the draft and re-opening it.  Existent email in my various folders still display as I want (i.e. larger).

This appears to have made a change that is 'sticking' - starting another new email gave the same small display.

FWIW:  I was trying to hit Control + U - for underline, but hit some other combination.  An undo also didn't change this.

So i have googled this, ive asked the windows chat agents.. I have got no help.

I never used to get this when i use movie maker but  last week and from now on, on movie maker my video has a big red line down the middle and the line is still there after you save. It isnt the video coz i can watch it and use it on other software and its fine.

Can anyone help?

I can't access my mail since august 6. For some reason i got this error 0x801941F7 and can't get my mail. In outlook it work but i am lost in it so i would be very happy to get my window live mail 2012 working properly again.  Since they update my computer to window 10 I am so unhappy. Worst windows ever made so far.

Any Ideas how I can fix it?

All I want to do is install Essentials so I can have Photo Gallery.  So many times I've tried, only to run into "errors" and

non working links, error codes and "we're working on it".  I get Essentials, then I need SQL server 2005 Compact Edition

which seems to have gone Missing In Action (MIA)

I have windows 10 on a new HP computer which is getting older by the day . . . . .
