Hi,

I'll try and explain my problem as best I can.

I use Live Mail 2012 as my email client.

I have a standard template which contains a link in it. The link works ok in the template however when I receive an enquiry copy and paste the template into the reply.

The link then converts to this.. 'wlmailhtml:{EA677540-2D2A-48AC-B2FB-1DAC39427C54}mid://00000002/: Meaning I have to manually convert it back defeating the purpose.

Can anyone offer a solution, I've already modified the registry to allow links to be copied using the "wlmail.exe" Dword '2AF9' in internet explorer both 32 bit and 64 bit and double checked the settings to make sure it's right.

My mail is set to read as html and send as html.

Can anyone help please

Thanks

P.

Yesterday morning Windows Live just stopped updating to my Hotmail account.  G-mail still syncs up normally. I cannot figure out why? Error below:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail account.

Server Error: 3219
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00005

Any suggestions?  I have Windows 10

I suddenly find that I can no longer send photos nor forward e-mails containing photos using Windows Live Mail.  They just sit in my Outbox.  I get an error code of 0x8007007A.  I can't even reply to someone who sent me an e-mail with a photo in it.  I have run Windows Essentials repair app and have re-downloaded Essentials.  I have un-checked the box for under the "Compose" tab for converting messages to photo e-mails as suggested by older posts but nothing has worked.

If I go straight to my mail handlers web site and use it directly all works OK so it is not an anti-virus problem.  I also have an Outlook account that I use outside of Windows Mail and it works fine.

Can anyone help me with this please?

I have tried a few of the suggested fixes, without success.  This has become a major problem for me--  my Windows Live email is my one active email account where my important emails are stored in folders--  my IRS files for example.  Windows Outlook is terribly time consuming to use in place of WL.  Outlook does not seem "modern" (only about 5 emails appear at once, forcing me to dutifully delete unwanted emails) and I have no interest in syncing or collaborating with others.

HELP.  Surely there is a solution for novices like me.  Direct from Microsoft, if not from other users.

I followed the alert that WLM would cease the end of July (or what ever date) and brought 3 pop accounts into Mail for Windows 10.  That was a mistake!  How can I revert just the former WLM pop accounts back to Windows Live Mail.  I have the accounts on another  machine running windows 10 and windows live mail.  How do I move them to the machine that  has them on mail for Win 10.  Help!

Not able to send email pictures on windows live mail on windows 10.5 I did have a little window of time  yesterday afternoon when it was working again but back to not letting me send pictures again this morning. What's going on I do not know.

I send a lot of pictures and this problem is driving me mad.

I copy a picture from my pc and paste it on to an email and it has always worked fine up to two or three weeks ago.

If I can get it to copy and paste it then sticks in out box.

But it is now showing the file location but no picture.

I need a fix for this problem please.

Hi,

I took my laptop to England from Northern Ireland, and presume that is why I cannot now send/receive mails in Windows Live Mail.  I can see my emails in Outlook, but do not like it.  Microsoft have send me the usual emails to ensure that this remote use was not a hacking.  However, I cannot find any user-friendly page to reinstate my WLM.  The demands for server isps, POP accounts or IMAP seems to send me in a useless loop.

Please advice this not-entirely-computer-illiterate how to get my beloved WLM interface to full usage again.

Thanks,

Clive Roberts.
