I use windows 7.0 pro and trying to find a free simple video software program.  I found many suggestion about using various forms of "windows video maker" that came with earlier windows software.  When i try to download from Microsoft website, it will not let me; says will not work with my device (dell Latitude E5470).  I'm afraid to download from other sites because not sure what will download with it.
