Emails I have sent are showing up in my inbox, and I don’t have conversations grouped, how do I get rid of them in my inbox?

Whenever I send an email it shows up in my inbox, how do I turn it off? I've read other threads that say to make sure your conversations aren't grouped, which they aren't!
