Do I need IE Browser add-ons anymore if I’m using EDGE or Chrome Browsers

I'm getting messages concerning 5 IE Browser add-ons and the time they add to "starting the browser".

 Messenger Companion Helper

 Search Helper

 Adobe PDF

 Adobe PDF Reader Link Helper

 Java(tm) Plug0in SSV Helper

It looks like these are IE add-ons (?) so do I need them at all now that I use Edge ( or sometimes Chrome)?
